1 SSTP Configuration Guide for Linux Mint For PPTP & OpenVPN configuration follow these guides: Setup PPTP on linux mint Setup OpenVPN on linux mint Things to Consider: Before you begin, please make sure that: You have a working internet connection Linux Mint Supported Device. Follow below steps to download / install required packages and configure SSTP> 1 Visit: and download following packages as per your OS / bit. For Mint 32bit download: 1 / 12

2 libsstp-client0_1.0.9_i386.deb sstp-client_1.0.9_i386.deb network-manager-sstp_ ubuntu2_i386.deb network-manager-sstp-gnome_ ubuntu2_i386.deb For Mint 64bit download: libsstp-client0_1.0.9_amd64.deb sstp-client_1.0.9_amd64.deb network-manager-sstp_ ubuntu1_amd64.deb network-manager-sstp-gnome_ ubuntu1_amd64.deb 2 Right click on libsstp-client0_1.0.9_i386.deb and open with GDebi Package Installer Click on install package to continue Provide you Mint password and click on OK to continue Once installed. Go back to downloads folder 3 Do the following: Right click on sstp-client_1.0.9_i386.deb and open with GDebi Package Installer Click on install package to continue Provide you Mint password and click on OK to continue Once installed. Go back to downloads folder 4 Do the following: Right click on network-manager-sstp_ ubuntu2_i386.deb and open with GDebi Package Installer Click on install package to continue Provide you Mint password and click on OK to continue Once installed. Go back to downloads folder 5 Do the following: Right click on network-manager-sstp-gnome_ ubuntu2_i386.deb and open with GDebi Package Installer Click on install package to continue Provide you Mint password and click on OK to continue 2 / 12

3 Once installed. Go back to downloads folder After installing pacakges. Reboot your system. 6 Click on Network Manager Icon and select Network Settings 7 Click on + 3 / 12

4 8 Click on Create. 4 / 12

5 9 Select Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) and click Create 5 / 12

6 10 Do the following: Insert Connection Name PureVPN SSTP Insert desired Gatway. Click here to get the server list Insert Username provided by PureVPN Insert Password provided by PureVPN Check Ignore certificate warnings Click on Advanced 6 / 12

7 11 Do the following: Uncheck Use Point-to-Point encryption (MPPE) Check Send PPP echo packets Click on OK 7 / 12

8 12 Click on Save 8 / 12

9 13 Click on PureVPN SSTP connection and click on switch to Turn ON VPN. 9 / 12

10 14 You are connected now. Enjoy the FREEDOM!!!!!!!!! 10 / 12
