1 Notebook Registration Guide This document shows you how to register your notebook (Windows) before downloading the software for your course. Please take note of the following before you proceed a. Please turn off the User Account Control or UAC. b. Disable the Anti-Virus installed in the laptop e.g. Norton, Symantec etc. c. Depending on your default browser, you will need to change some settings for the download to be successful. Go to the relevant section to change the settings d. Remember to put back original settings for your browser and turn on UAC after you have downloaded and installed ALL your software e. If you encounter any issues, please run in Internet Explorer 11. 8 13. Click on the Notebook Registration Refresh button. 14. The list of software needed for the course will be shown for download and installation.
