3 Setup 1- Decompress the Provided folder named Consultix Walk-View to a relevant location 2- Right click on the setup icon and then choose Run as administrator 3- Press Next in the shown window 3

4 4- Press Yes in the shown window when asked about Installing Drivers (press yes only if the drivers is installed for the first time) 5- Press Close to finalize the setup 6- Go to Control Panel then Regional and Language Settings, and then set the language to American 4

5 Prepare for a measurement Trip 1- Open the desktop shortcut Consultix Walk View" 2- Connect the receiver to you PC, it will be engaged automatically (use the provided Mini USB-B cable) 3- Wait till the status bar shows Ready 4- Press the Settings icon to adjust the following parameters: General sub menu - The com port assigned to the receiver - The capturing rate of measurement results - The measure point highlight size - Activating/ Deactivating inter-point lines - Number of display channels Ranges sub menu - The legend of colors GPS sub menu - The GPS com port and baud rate Kindly Note that our software is compatible with any GPS device complies with NEMA standard. 5

6 5- Press Session Manager icon 6- Press on Add working folder to add a folder for the desired Tests/ trips 7- To add a new site, Press on the related working folder, then Press Add Site as shown below 6

7 8- A new window will pop-up, Configure the new site parameter as follows: - Site Name - Site Image (Press Browse to import the site layout/plan) - Site length and wide (Incase the measurement file will be used in post processing, or exported to a.csv file) - Channel Frequency values 9- Create a working session for every round as desired for every site. Press on the needed site, then Press Add new session, Write the session name and any comment for further reference. 7

8 Start Measurement 1- Press Run session for any new session or save one to start your walk-view test 2- You can start, stop, pause and resume your session by Pressing Start new path, Stop, Pause, or Resume 8

9 During a Walk-Test - After Pressing Start new test, Correlate your real start point to the floor layout, and then click on the corresponding starting point. The S/W will start capturing the receiver measurements while you are walking to the second point. When you Press on the second point in the floor layout, the automatic captured measurement points will be distributed equidistantly between point 1 and point 2. - You could control that capturing rate or the point s size from the settings menu mentioned above in step # 3. Archiving & Export - After finishing the test, Press the stop button, and Press Save session. After saving the session, Press Export session data in the main bar to export the test results to a.csv file. - You can save the test picture, and send it to another user with no access to the Walk-View software. Playback - Press Export playback to export the media clip file. You can view the Media clip within the Walk-View software, or send the exported file to any other user with no access to the software. 9
