5 First - Log into Your Council s Members Only Section

6 Next, Click to Set Your Monthly Goal and Indicate your Blood Donor Status

9 And Let Your Council Know if You are a Blood Donor

10 Next, See How Easy it is to Enter and Track Your Volunteer Hours

11 When you First Open the Form you will see Your Goal and Y-T-D Totals

12 You can even Compare Year to Year

13 If you are Making Entries for Another Day, You can Adjust the Date.

14 Just below the Date of Entry, Volunteer Categories are Set Up According to Supreme Form 1728

15 And Your Volunteer Hours and Blood Donations are Tracked Year-to-Date for You by Category

16 To Add 2 Hours and 45 minutes you Volunteered at the VA Hospital, First Explain the Visit in the Text Box Below the Category

17 Type 2 in the Hours Box next to the Category

18 To Correct an error and Subtract 2¾ Hours, Simply Enter a -2 (negative two) in the Hours Box

19 Click the down arrow in the minutes box, select 45, and Click at the Bottom of the Page

20 To Avoid Errors, You Will be Asked to Confirm or Correct, and then Asked to at the Bottom of the Page

21 The next Page Confirms your Entry with New YTD Totals. You can Print the Page, Check the Event Entered, Check Hours Entered, and Click to Make More Entries.

22 To Make sure you Entered all of your Hours, Go Back to your Entry Page and Click your Total Hours in any Category

23 That Opens your Category Report with All Entries, Including your Correcting Entries.

24 And it is Just as Easy on your Smartphone

25 Just Tap to Record Volunteer Hours

26 Enter Your Membership Number and Council Number

27 The System Confirms You, your Council, and Shows Your Y-T-D Hours

28 The Entry Form is Slightly Different, but it Works the Same.

29 To Record 1.5 Hours Cooking at the USO, Enter your Activity, Enter 1 hour, Select 30 Min. and Tap At the Bottom of the Page (Not Shown)

30 To Avoid Errors, From this Confirmation Page you Will Scroll Down

31 Correct the Information if Necessary, or Not, and then Tap to

32 With Your Entries Confirmed You can Close the Program or Scroll down to

33 Put a Link on Your Android Desktop for the UKnight Volunteer Hours Tracking App

34 At Tap on the Top Right More Icon Three Dots

35 The Entire Menu Might Not Show at Once, so Swipe Up to go to the Bottom of the Menu

36 Simply Tap Add to Home Screen

37 That Will Put a UKnight Interactive Icon Right on Your Android Smartphone Desktop

38 Put a Link on Your iphone Home Screen for the UKnight Volunteer Hours Tracking App

39 For Older iphones Go to and Tap on the Bookmark Icon

40 Tap to Add a UKnight Icon to Your iphone Home Screen

41 For Newer iphones Go to Tap on the New Bookmark Icon

42 Tap to Add a UKnight Icon to Your iphone Home Screen

43 Both Will Put a UKnight Interactive Icon Right on Your iphone Home Screen

44 GK, FS, Webmaster, and Member Can Now Update Volunteer Hours from Council Member Lists Managing Your Council

45 Each Member has Update Buttons by Their own Name for Contact info and Volunteer Hours

46 Council Leadership Can Access Every Member Record from the Same Member List. Just Click to UPDATE VOL HRS

47 If You are Checking your Hours or if you Volunteered with a Member at the USO and Want to be Sure his Hours are Entered, Click the Total Hours

48 That Will Open the Service History Screen where you can See that Yes, He Logged the USO Cooking Time on 9/16

49 And if Not, You Can Correct the Record and Make the Entry Right Here.

50 Plus UKnight Provides Valuable Reporting Functions

51 These are Accessed by GK, FS, and Webmaster through Members Only Not the Admin Center

52 Track Total Hours for each Member Just Click on their Actual Hours

53 To Check Specific Categories to Find any hours that Might be Missing

54 Click the Number of total Hours to Open and Check The Entry Log

55 If You Notice Missing Hours, Just Open the Member List and Click to Update that Members Record!

56 And You can Also Perform Year Over Year Comparisons

57 And these Hours have been Accumulating All Throughout the Year for Your Form 1728

58 Your Council Totals Are Waiting for you Tallied and Ready to Go

59 Not Only can you Compare Year Over Year

60 When You Click on a Category Total

61 You Have the List of Each Member Who Volunteered with their Phone Number, Actual Hours Logged, Plus

62 UKnight Gives You a Blank Pre- Addressed to Members of this specific Group so you can Send a Thank You or Send a Request for Volunteers from a Group You Know Volunteers in that Category Already

63 District Deputies Have Their own Tools at DISTRICT DEPUTY PORTAL

64 Log-In and Click to Open Volunteer Hours Report

65 You Have Total District Hours, Year Over Year Comparisons, and Number of Members Reporting

66 You Have District Totals per Category Plus Individual Reports for Each of Your Councils

67 Click on the Total Hours for a Category

68 And UKnight will Show You Which Councils Contributed to Your Total

69 To Review a Specific Council Click on the Council Number

70 You Receive Council Leadership Information, Total Hours, Number of Participating Members When Council Members Set Volunteer Goals This Council s Total Goals, Actual and Remaining Hours Will Show Here

71 And UKnight will Show you the Specific Category Totals for That Specific Council
