In order to create shortcuts to these apps on your home screens, first unlock your device, then swipe up on your home screen to view your App Drawer. Locate and tap the Workspace icon. In the Workspace, you will see all of your managed apps. Tap the three vertical dots menu icon at the top right of the screen, then select Workspace settings to continue.

2 In Workspace settings, tap Workspace style to continue. Tap the Hide Workspace apps slider to turn it off. Next, tap DONE. Your managed apps will now appear in your App Drawer. To add an app shortcut to the home screen, tap the app icon and hold your finger down until the menu appears. Tap Add to Home or drag the shortcut to a position on your home screen.

3 Add Your Mailbox to Outlook Once Intune has pushed the Microsoft Outlook application automatically to your device then you can proceed. First unlock your device, then swipe up on your home screen to view your App Drawer. Locate and tap the Workspace icon. Next, Locate and tap the Outlook icon. When Outlook opens, tap the Get Started button. Enter your CFMWS address and tap CONTINUE. Enter your CFMWS NPF domain user password. Next, tap the ADVANCED SETTINGS slider to turn it on.

4 Enter additional field values as indicated below. CFMWS Mailbox has not been migrated to the Cloud yet: a. Server enter webmail.cfmws.com. b. Domain\Username enter CFCF\[your CFWMS username] (e.g. CFCF\jdoe), the one you use to sign in to your CFMWS workstation. c. Password - enter your CFMWS NPF domain user password, the one you use to sign in to your CFMWS workstation. CFMWS Mailbox is in the Cloud: a. Server enter outlook.office365.com. b. Domain\Username enter your full address. c. Password - enter your CFMWS NPF domain user password, the one you use to sign in to your CFMWS workstation. Next, tap the checkmark in the top right to continue. When prompted to Activate device administrator, tap ACTIVATE. Your account has been added successfully. When prompted to add another account, tap SKIP.

5 The information screens provide an overview of the three* main functions of the Microsoft Outlook App and how to use them: 1. Mail 2. Contacts 3. Calendar Tap the arrow icon to scroll through these screens. * Please note that Tasks and Notes functions and not available in the mobile application. Attach Photos in Microsoft Outlook Once Intune has pushed the Microsoft Outlook application automatically to your device then you can proceed. In this Microsoft Outlook example, create a new message and tap the paperclip icon at bottom right. Next, choose Choose from photos.

6 On the selection screen, select the three horizontal bars menu at top left. Next, choose More apps to continue. Photos external to your workspace are available. Attach Photos in Microsoft Word Once Intune has pushed the Microsoft Word application automatically to your device then you can proceed. In this Microsoft Word example, tap the Home menu and choose Insert. Next, choose Pictures, then Photos.

7 On the selection screen, select the three horizontal bars menu at top left. Next, choose More apps to continue. Photos external to your workspace are available. Resolve Outlook Notification Delays In an effort to conserve battery life, by default the Android OS restricts battery use for Intune Company Portal and managed apps including Outlook whenever the device locks. This limits background app refresh and impacts timely receipt of notifications. First unlock your device, then swipe up on your home screen to view your App Drawer. Locate and tap the Workspace icon. Next, Locate and tap the Company Portal icon. Tap the three vertical dots menu icon at the top right of the screen, then select Settings to continue.

8 Tap the TURN OFF button, then tap ALLOW to continue.
