The 15U internal rack height cabinet allws sub-bench placement r may be used t psitin ther test equipment as the tp f the cabinet is at typical bench height. This lw prfile cabinet can huse ne t three units and is standard n the 3180AFX, 3240AFX, 3300AFX and 3450AFX mdels. The 28U internal rack height cabinet psitins the master AFX unit with frnt panel at a cnvenient wrking height ff the flr fr easy peratin and viewing. This cabinet size is standard 3600AFX thrugh 3900AFX cabinet mdels. All standard cabinets use heavy duty rack slides t supprt each pwer surce. This allws easy remval r installatin f additinal auxiliary units t expand pwer utput in the field. Just cnnect the crrect three phase AC input pwer t the AC input terminal blck and yur lad t the three phase utput terminal blck and yu are gd t g. Fully Tested and Calibrated AFX cabinet systems arrive fully tested as a paralleled system t ensure current sharing between units. The cabinet has als been burned in and calibrated befre shipment. All Internal Wiring Included and Installed All pwer distributin f AC input t the multiple units inside the cabinet has been installed using apprpriately rated pwer wires. A single fur psitin AC input cmpressin terminal blck (L1, L2, L3, Gnd) is lcated at the rear lwer right-hand side f the cabinet. On the left-hand side is a five psitin AC r DC utput terminal cmpressin blck (A, B, C, N, Gnd) that ties all unit utputs tgether and prvides a single pint f cnnectin fr yur lad cables. Internal cabling is separated between inputs and utputs and carefully attached t side rails t prevent any chance f mvement. Rear Panel with Pwer Cable Strain Reliefs A rear panel mesh screen with adequate air flw penings is installed fr peratr safety. A small (3U) bttm panel has an input cable pass-thrugh and a separate utput cable pass-thrugh. Bth have suitable cable strain relief clamps fr the recmmended input and utput wire sizes. This prtects peratrs frm tuching any live cnnectrs. It als reduces the risk f pulling ut live wires and prvides a clean, finished lk frm the back. Fr Split Phase mde, rated pwer is 2/3. 28U Cabinet Available Cabinet Optins AFX cabinet systems can be custmized by adding any number f ptins. This allws custmizatin withut having t rely n expensive custm designs. Adding any f the listed ptins typically des nt affect delivery time. Available cabinet ptins are: -OCS Output Cntrl Switch This ptin adds a selectr switch n a 1U panel directly belw the AFX master unit. (except n 3450AFX cabinets) When turned, this switch engages the remte utput inhibit functin. This results in the utput being turned ff. A small terminal blck is added at the rear f the cabinet t allw wiring a remte safety interlck switch in series with the cabinet mushrm buttn. This allws integratin f a test fixture safety switch. Nte: This functin des NOT remve input pwer t the pwer surce as is the case fr the -EPO ptin (See next). -EPO Emergency Pwer Off The EPO ptin adds a mushrm style emergency pwer ff switch t the 1U panel directly belw the AFX master unit. An AC Line input pwer discnnect cntactr is added t the AC input f the AFX cabinet. This emergency pwer ff switch pens this cntactr and remves all input pwer frm the individual AFX units in the cabinet. -28UX1, -28UX2 28U Tall Cabinet Optins This ptin applies t 3300AFX and 3450AFX cabinets nly and prvides rm fr expansin frm 30kVA r 45kVA t 45kVA (-28UX1) r 60kVA (-28UX2). Systems rdered with ne f these ptins will use a 28U cabinet in place f the standard 15U cabinet. All internal wiring and terminal blcks are sized fr the selected upgrade pwer level already, s ne r tw auxiliary units can be added at any time in the future as needed. Adding auxiliary unit(s) t -xxux cabinets can be dne by PPS Service center in yur regin. (See Spares fr auxiliary unit mdel numbers) NC-t-Master Upgrade This ptin can be specified n all cabinet systems if a redundant Master unit r seperatin int tw seperate pwer level systems is required. Nte that seperating a cabinet system int multiple systems requires recnfiguratin f the utput wiring! High Vltage Output Optins (T Optins) Fr AC pwer applicatins requiring mre than 300V RMS L-N r 520V L-L, ptinal step up transfrmers are available that increase the maximum utput vltage.
