3 1 Overview The CmmBx slutin is designed and cntinuusly develped t give ship wners the mst cst efficient and flexible cmmunicatin experience between ship and shre. T always have the crucial back-up cnnectin, mre ship wners install several carriers n their vessels. The CmmBx is cmpatible with all f the FleetBradband (FB) as well as BGAN and SwiftBradband as well as ther carriers like GSM, 3G and Wi-Fi. The system will autmatically switch between the carriers that give the best cnnectin available. Maritime cmmunicatin expenses are related t different air-time prviders, and the cst f cmmunicating ver different carriers. The CmmBx is independent f any air-time prvider, ffering least cst ruting by autmatic switching between carriers. The CmmBx ffers a cmplete slutin fr crew retentin. 6 5 Setting up With the CmmBx Quick install guide, the cnfiguratin and setup f the CmmBx is a straightfrward prcedure. Cnfigure the features yu wish t use, and cnnect the equipment as shwn in the drawing belw. The CmmBx must always cnnect t a hub n shre, which is typically the private hub f the ship wner. 6 Hints and Tips a. Cnnect yur FleetBradband terminal t LAN1 (WAN) n the CmmBx b.
