This should be centrally configurable at the network segment level (VPN), group of branch locations level and a branch office level. URL Filtering Pl. change the clause to Solution should support URL whitelisting and blacklisting along with filtering at the centralised Data centre level. As this is a centralised gateway for all the ESIC location offices, hence the policy for URL needs to be done at the central level. This would help you manage a central policy management. The SD-WAN Router physical appliance should support at least 6 x 1GbE Ethernet ports. To cater high bandwidth at DC/DR location 10Gig interfaces are ideal connectivity, instead of multiple 1GE links. 2 - RFP does not mention number tunnels and encryption performance at HUB side routers. Please add clause " Hub side router (Physical or virtual) should provide minimum 10 Gbps of encrypted performance to support minimum 4400 IPSec tunnels" Considering even 5 Mbps from each branch (2200), alteast 11 Gbps or higher bandwidth will be required at DC/DR location. Request to have mention alteast 10Gbps of throughput to meet current requirement. This will ensure that any low end branch level products are not proposed for Datacenter location Each Branch will have atleast 2 transport tunnels (Two ISP) x considering 2200 branches = 4400 Tunnels will be required from day 1. Vendor is required to submit bid / technical solution as per locations already mentioned in the tender. - Request to add clause "The OEM of active network devices to be quoted by the bidder should have local 24x7 Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) support in India and alteast 20+ Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) depot in India." Local TAC Support and RMA depot will help faster resolution of any issue. As ESIC office spread across India it is very important to have multiple demo so that RMA can be processed at earliest and SLA can be achieved within stipulated time. Page 25 Item 20 The Client Satisfaction Certificates from minimum 2 clients shall be submitted online along with the Technical bid Similar deployment scale will ensure that proposed solution can meet ESIC scale requirement and has stable solution. Request to change to "Minimum 2 clients with alteast 2200 deployment from India/Global from bidder/oem shall be submitted online along with the Technical bid. However, delivery and installation/commissioning period remains 90 days. For O & M, quarterly payments will be made only in arrears after deducting the penalty (if any). These payment terms will not be changed. The vendors are required to quote on these payment terms only. The Bidder should specifically note that no advance payment will be made. The Bidder should be an authorized partner with the highest partnership level of the OEM for supply, installation and support for the SDN Box/Device as per the terms mentioned in Annexures- 3 & 4. The Bidder should provide proof of Back-to-Back support agreement with OEM(s) for the proposed SDN Box. Bidder is requested to provide list of service centres, technical manpower there, arrangement for repair or replacement of SDWAN device for providing SLA, etc. and commissioning against 10% PBG submitting by bidder. We request for amendment and corrigendum as: Give details of projects implemented in SDWAN/Networking/WAN supply and implementation in India or abroad by the (I). by the bidder. or (II). by the SDWAN Technology Provider (OEM). or (III). by the bidder and SDWAN Technology Provider (OEM) together. as- The Bidder should be an authorized partner of the OEM for supply, installation and support for the SDWAN/Networking/WAN as per the terms mentioned in Annexures- 3 & 4. as Undertaking required from OEM for back to back to back support agreement with bidder for this tender. as Bidder/Partner Associations/OEM is requested to provide list of service centres, technical manpower there, arrangement for repair or replacement of SDWAN device for providing SLA, etc. The item is self explanatory and no amendment is called for. No. 20 Delivery: Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of SDN Devices in ESIC Offices, other than DC and DR- The installation and commissioning will be required to be done in two phases. a. (I) First Phase Complete Installation and commissioning in 1600 locations to be completed within 90 days from the date of Work Order. b. (II) Second phase Complete Installation and commissioning in balance locations and for these and any additional location the installation and commissioning will have to be completed within 60 days of the issue of order. c. (III) The list of 1600 locations of the first phase will be provided in the WO. d. (IV) Go live is1 and 2(I) and rest all is additional. What is currently available MPLS & Internet Bandwidth on each type of site (Type A & B) and also request to confirm what would be the incremental bandwidth requirement per site. What is the through put requirement at Hub location (Type C DC & DR). Hub location router needs to be only virtual or it can be physical also. Serial interface on SDWAN CPE should be optional. Even if we use converters, those external converters are not supported by SDWAN controller. Hence, Serial interface should not be mandatory in the RFP. Making of Bank Guarantee as an EMD for the tender makes it more complex to bid in such a short period due to festival holidays in the month. As we are keen to submit bid for the above said tender which will take another 15 days. In view that, extend bid submission date by at least 15 days. As SDWAN is new technology, request you to kindly consider PO copies for WAN and SWAN technology. Is ITI need to submit the project details for all three points? All other locations have 2+2 MB bandwidth. Bidder may supply hardware as per specifications given in the tender. As per tender specifications. The SD-WAN Branch site router should at least have one serial interface for WAN link termination. Although, ESIC requires serial port, if it is not possible, vendor may provide external converter. (iii) The SD-WAN Branch site router should support for a minimum of four 10/100/1000 Ethernet interfaces for WAN/LAN link termination 4(iv) The SD-WAN Branch site router should support for a minimum of one 10/100/1000 Ethernet interface for terminating the LAN connection (vii). The solution must store historical traffic and performance information to assist with troubleshooting and analysis, traffic forecasting and SLA meeting. We request ESIC to share the total number of SDWAN CPEs to support serial port. We request ESIC to clarify the total number of Physical Ports required on the SDWAN CPE Device for both Type A & Type B locations. ESIC is requested to clarify the duration to be considered for storing the Historical data. RFP is a refloating of earlier RFP with modifications to enable more competition. Before floating the RFP, ESIC had held a meeting on with vendors and OEMs to find out what could be amended for better response. The RFP already floated, incorporates those suggestions. Hence prebid meeting has not been found essential. Currently BSNL MPLS link at all locations are connected through Serial Port. The specifications are required for both Type A & Type B Locations.
