We are celebrating the recent opening of our new Lethbridge facility, bringing the total number of facilities to seven between Alberta and Saskatchewan. We currently have three facilities under construction; Windermere Valley BC, Sherwood Park AB and Fort Saskatchewan AB. 4 our history Stor edge is a self storage company focused on identifying, developing and managing self storage stores in Canada. The private company is involved in the acquisition, development and management of self storage projects in select locations. The company s strategy is to identify uniquely positioned land and develop self storage stores or acquire existing stores in cities and towns across Canada. The company employs hands on philosophy at all times, from land acquisition, opening of the stores to the branding and management of each store. As a member of the Self Storage Association, we are dedicated to the highest standards of cleanliness, security, efficiency and integrity in the self storage industry. Stor edge was created in 2001 by Bill and Archie Roberts, with the first store opening in September of 2003 in Calgary, Alberta. Each location offers protection against damage and loss through Renfrew Content Insurance for your peace of mind. In fact, you may be surprised to learn that if you use a self storage facility, your personal contents are not insured by the facility for loss or damage. Although these facilities may make every effort to reduce or minimize risk, it is still your responsibility to protect your contents. As well, most homeowners or tenant insurance policies do not provide adequate coverage for contents held in storage. Remember, if it s worth storing, it s worth protecting! It is important to note that storage facilities must meet strict standards and have a good track record before an insurance company will approve them to offer storage insurance.
