3 Bangladesh Caterers Association UK The Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) was established in 1960 to represent the catering industry. BCA has over 4000 active members nationallyand is evolving everyday. It s the umbrella organisation to echo the issues and concerns of approximately 12,000 British-Bangladeshi caterers acrossthe UK. At present the industry employees more than 100,000 people and the curry industry contributes approximately 4.2 Billion sterling to the British economy. BCA organises various activities to promote the curry industry in Great Britain as well as in Europe. An annual highlight is the BCA Awards, whichwas launched in Since inception, we have recognised many entrepreneurs including, best caterer of the year, best chef of the year & honourawardees from across the country. This year on the (on Sunday 19th November) 2017, we are holding our 12th successful awards ceremony at (Park Plaza Westminister Bridge) in London with over 1200 guests expected from across the country including Lords, Ladies, Members of Parliament, Secretary of State, TV Presenter, Business Icons, MEP, Celebritiesand many dignitaries from nationally. At the awards you will get the opportunity to network with influential curry leaders from across the country, served with five course lavish dinner atthe ceremony and enjoy performance by national and international performers.
