2 Login & Edit Profile Privileged Members have unlimited access to Programs, Live Webcasts, One-Hour Briefings and over 2,500 hours of On-Demand content. Log in to your account for the first time (or reset password) 1. Go to and click Login in the upper right corner. 2. Enter your business and password. If you are new to PLI or have forgotten your password, click Reset Password. 3. Enter your business and click Submit to receive a temporary password by Follow the link provided in your Log in with your business and temporary password. Create a new password and click Submit to log in. My Account Edit Profile 1. General: Edit/confirm personal and professional information. 2. Contact Information: Edit/confirm contact and billing information. (Note: Please use your business as your primary contact). 3. Password: Create/change your password using a minimum of six characters and no spaces. 4. Need Credits?: Add any relevant credit types you will need, jurisdiction(s) and State License information. 5. Preference Center: Indicate your interest areas and preferences. After making changes, click SAVE

3 Search Options Home Page Search Options 1. Keyword Search using the search bar in the upper right corner: - Enter a keyword and select a specific type of content to search through from the drop-down menu. - Highlighted snippeting indicates where the search word occurs in your results. - Advanced Search includes auto correction, positional search, Booleans, wildcarding and natural language Select a practice area from the initial home page: - From the list of offerings available, some interest areas allow you to refine your search by time period or subareas. - Use tabs to navigate between product types 3. Using the navigation bar, search by practice area: - Target your search by hovering over a delivery method choosing from the dropdown to filter by practice area, format, credit type, etc. Search Results 1. The search results appear sorted alphabetically or chronologically using the dropdown Sort By menu. 2. Using the search filter on the left, the results may be filtered by content, credit type or additional terms. 3. Remove filters to broaden search Register for a Program (or View at a Groupcast Location) Click on the program title or product and to reach its detailed description page. 1. Confirm the education credits available for the program. 2. Use the tabs to learn more about the program. 3. Select a date and location. 4. Click the calendar icon to add to your Outlook. 5. Click Reserve Seat and follow the prompts in the shopping cart to confirm your registration Course Handbooks and associated course materials are included in Seminar attendance. A downloadable Course Handbook will be available several days prior to the program by visiting My Online Library and clicking Course Materials. A Note on Education Credits: To receive your Certificate of Attendance, please ensure that your license information is current for all jurisdictions in which you seek credit. You can edit your profile at My Account > Edit Profile. 3

4 Webcasts Register for a Webcast Select a Webcast and click Pre-Register. The program can also be added to your Outlook calendar. Follow the prompts in the shopping cart to confirm your registration. The Webcast will automatically be added to My Online Library. On the day of the Webcast, select the Web Programs tab from My Online Library and click the program title. A new window will open with important information about receiving credit for this program, including how to verify your viewing by clicking the randomly appearing time stamp during the program. You are not required to click the time stamp during breaks when viewing a Webcast. Click Continue on to the Program. Time Stamp Download Program Materials Program materials are available online several hours prior to the start of a Webcast. To access course materials, click Program Materials in the upper right corner of the Webcast screen. All related program materials will be available to download and/or print. Education Credits After the Live Webcast, click Request Credit in the upper right corner of the screen to receive your Certificate of Attendance. This will be ed to you from PLIcredits@pli.edu within hours. Be sure to indicate the type of credit you are seeking. 4

5 On-Demand Web Programs View an On-Demand Web Program Select the title of a Web Program or segment and click Launch. View now or later this program will be automatically added to My Online Library. A new window will open and prompt you for your media player preference. Read the important information about receiving credit for this program, including how to verify your viewing by clicking the randomly appearing time stamp during the program. Click Continue on to the Program. Time Stamp Download Program Materials: Click Program Materials in the upper right corner of the program screen. All related course materials will be available to download and/or print. Education Credits: After viewing the program, click Request Credit in the upper right corner of the screen to receive your Certificate of Attendance. This will be ed to you from PLIcredts@pli.edu within hours. Be sure to indicate the type of credit you are seeking. Complete Form to Receive Credit Controls for On-Demand Web Pause, stop, rewind, bookmark and full screen mode are located at the bottom of the screen. 5

Note: If you are logging in to PLI for the first time, or if you forgot your password, go to to have a new password sent to you. 8 PLI Mobile App for ipad & iphone (continued) Receive CLE Credit Each program has an audible and/or visual authorization code which is required to receive CLE credit. Manage Your MP3s and MP4s Downloaded files may be removed from your device by tapping X. Programs can always be accessed later by downloading again. ipad iphone 8

9 Download MP3s & MP4s Download MP3s and MP4s to your PC Browse PLI s extensive MP3 and MP4 archives Download and save to multiple media devices Earn CLE credit anytime and anywhere Browse Archives Scroll over the On-Demand tab from the toolbar on the home page and select Format type: Audio Download (MP3) or Video Download (MP4). Filter your search using the navigation menu on the left. Access and Download Files Select an MP3 or MP4, then click Download Now in the pop-up window. Save the file under an easily recognizable name. This file can now be accessed at any time from My Online Library. Program Description 1. Reading Materials: To save, right-click on the format type (PDF, HTML). 2. Download Digital Audio: Click Download to view important CLE information. Request Credit Once the entire MP3 or MP4 file has been listened to or viewed, log back in to Select the program from My Online Library. Click Request Credit from the upper right corner of the screen. CLE Authorization Code Please note the Authorization Code required when submitting for CLE credit. It will be available audibly/visually on the file. Complete the form, including the Authorization Code from the program. Click Submit. Your CLE Certificate will be ed to you within hours. 9
