3 1. BEFORE USE THIS DOCUMENT Register an account from after that you ll receive an that contains four important items: ADRESS, PASSWORD, NICKNAME, ACTIVATION CODE. Activate your account with the activation code you have received. Make sure that your device inconnected with a WIFI/GPRS network. 2. Download. There are 2 way to download Copy9 set up file to your smartphone Download with a PC. After activate your account with the activation code, download page will appear. Choose Copy9 for Android X.X version. 3/16

5 Then, connect your device with PC by USB cable. Turn on USB Storage mode. Android 2.2 smartphone Android 1.5 smartphone Copy and paste set up file to your smartphone then open it by a file manager application (such as IO file manager) and follow installation wizard step by step to install Copy9. 5/16

6 2.2. Download directly to your smartphone. Attention: Your device must have internet connection (via Wifi, GPRS, 3G ). Open web browser of the device and enter following URL address to download installation file to your device directly. For example, I want download Copy9 for my Android 2.2 smartphone, so I enter address Choose one of links below to download Copy9 installation file to your PC (six options): For Android 1.5: For Android 1.6: For Android 2.0: For Android 2.1: For Android 2.2: For Android 2.3: 3. Installation. On your device, open file copy9_xx.pak to start installation process, the installation screen will appear and you can follow set up wizard step by step. Restart your phone after installation process finish successful. 6/16

7 4. Configuration. After the phone restarted, you can open Copy9 interface to configuring by dialing the secret code : #123456* then press CALL KEY (OK KEY), wait for a few seconds, Copy9 user interface will appear Login. Attention!!! You can only monitor 3 devices for each account. If you want to monitor more devices, please register another account. On Login screen, insert address and password of account which you created in website into Address and Password fields then tap Login. 7/16

8 (Attention: This account must be activated before it is used to login). If your account is logged in successful, a message Login successful will appear after a few second, otherwise, please check again account information or internet connection. Address: address of account you register on our website Password: password or your Copy9 account. Button Login: Tap this button to login. Button Setting: Tap this button to open Setting screen. You can configure all parameters of application Copy9 here. Button About: About us. Button Exit: Hide application interface. You have to dial secret key to open Copy9 interface next time Configure Copy9. In Copy9 main screen, tap Setting. 8/16

9 Functions: o SMS: Activate/Deactive function record incoming and outging SMS message. o Call: Activate/Deactive function record incoming and outging Call. o URL: Activate/Deactive function record URL address which accessed by device s web browser. o Auto Answer: Activate/Deactive function Auto answer. When you use monitor phone number, which is set in Monitoring phone field to make a call to target phone number, target phone will receive the call secretly and turn on device s microphone. So, you can hear all the sound around target phone without acknowledge of target phone user. GPS: Activate/Deactive function record GPS location. o Capture position every (GPS interval): duration between 2 time record GPS location. o Distance filter: horizontal distance parameter for function GPS, if target phone does not move out of the circle with radius is Distance filter parameter value in specified time, Copy9 will save the location and sent to server. General: o Monitoring phone: Phone number is used to function Auto answer. o Secret key: password is used to open application interface. 9/16

10 5. How it works? Copy9 will record information about received calls, dialed calls, missed calls, outgoing messages, incoming message, GPS locations (global possition system), URL address of all website visited... in your Android smartphone then uses HTTP to send that informations to the website. Later customers can view result on website through PC web browser or smartphone web browser. Customers can customize configuration parameters of application Copy9 in device also by using link Configure cell. 6. Config through website. With a PC, you can config Copy9 running on devices by using CELL INFO TAB on our website. What you changed will apply to application Copy9 running on devices exactly. Attention!!! You can only monitor 3 devices for each account. If you want to monitor more devices, please register another account. 10/16

14 Appendix i. How to know version of Android OS in your smartphone From main menu, tap Settings > About Phone > look Android version. ii. How to turn on Wifi in your smartphone From main menu, tap Settings > Wireless and Network > check on Wifi box. 14/16

15 iii. How to turn on GPS in your smartphone From main menu tap Settings > Location and Security > in group My Location, check on Enable GPS satellites. iv. How to uninstall Copy9 From Main menu, tap Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find icon Copy9 in application list. 15/16

16 Tap icon Copy9 > Uninstall > OK. Wait a moment while Copy9 is removed. Tap OK to finish. 16/16
