2 Couple an On Board Unit in the Satellic Road User Portal In order to couple an On Board Unit, you need to complete the following steps first: Register an account. Please check: RUP Manual Account Registration for more information. Register a vehicle. Please check: RUP Manual Vehicle Registration for more information. Order an OBU. Please check: RUP Manual Order an OBU for more information. When coupling an OBU to a vehicle, you also need to connect the OBU to a Guaranteed Payment Means. Toll can be paid in pre-paid mode or post-paid mode. - In pre-paid, payments can be done by credit card, fuel card, debit card in the Road User Portal. Bank transfer is also possible, but to that respect please have a look on - In post-paid, payments can be done by credit card or fuel card. When your account is managed by one of the Business Partners, you can also choose your Business Partner as a payment method. Couple and top up the OBU in pre-paid mode, are explained here below. Couple and top up the OBU in post-paid mode, are explained as of page 11. Please note that, due to privacy reasons, not all the information is shown. Couple an OBU and top up in Pre-paid mode Step 1: Go to and select Road User Portal. 2

3 Step 2: Select LOGIN. Step 3: Select I M MANAGING and login with your Username and Password. 3

4 Step 4: Select COUPLE OBU under the blue circle DECOUPLED OBUs. Tip: You can also select COUPLE OBU directly on the Vehicle details page. To access the Vehicle details page, click on the VEHICLES circle and then on the licence plate number which you want to couple. 4

5 Step 5: Select the OBU and the vehicle you want to couple. Click NEXT. Step 6: Select the payment method for topping up the OBU. Select PRE-PAID and click NEXT. 5

Step 7: Your OBU is now coupled to the vehicle. To use the OBU immediately, select TOP UP. Step 8: Enter the amount ( ) that you would like to top up your OBU with.

You can top up in Pre-paid mode with Credit Card, Debit Card, Fuel Card and bank transfer in the Road User Portal. If you want to top up your OBU immediately, please choose Credit, Debit of Fuel Card. If you pay your top-up via bank transfer, you need to take into account that the amount is only transferred on weekdays which are not bank holidays. Follow steps 8a-8c for top up with Credit Card. Follow steps 8d-8f for top up with Debit Card. Follow steps 8g-8i for top up with Fuel Card. Follow steps 8j-8k for top up with Bank transfer. 6

7 Top up via Credit Card pre-paid 8.a. Fill in the Top Up Amount ( ), select CREDIT CARD and select NEXT. 8.b. Please confirm your entered data and select TOP UP. 7

8 8.c. Follow the instructions on the secured payment provider page and pay the Top-Up. Please note that the language of this payment page can be different than your default language on the RUP. 8

9 Top up via Debit Card pre-paid 8.d. Fill in the Top up-amount, select DEBIT CARD and click NEXT. 8.e. Please confirm your entered data and select TOP UP. 9

10 8.f. Follow the instructions on the secured payment provider page and pay the Top Up. Please note that the language of this payment page can be different than your default language on the RUP. 10

11 Top up via Fuel Card pre-paid 8.g. Fill in the Top Up-Amount, select FUEL CARD and select NEXT. 8.h. Please confirm your entered data and select TOP UP. 11

12 8.i. Follow the instructions on the secured page provided by AGES and pay the Top Up. Please note that the language of this payment page can be different than your default language on the RUP. 12

13 Top up via bank transfer 8j. Fill in the Top Up-Amount, select Bank transfer and select NEXT. 8k. Please transfer the amount you wish to top up to the following bank account. Make sure that you use the payment reference below to allow your top up to be processed automatically. We would also like to remind you that you need to make a separate bank transfer for each OBU on which you wish to add credit and that bank transfer payments are only processed on weekdays which are not bank holidays. Also note that the balance on your OBU cannot exceed the maximum and that your OBU needs to be coupled and active to receive the top up. 13

14 Couple an OBU and top up in Post-paid mode Step 1: Go to and select Road User Portal. Step 2: Select LOGIN. 14

15 Step 3: Select I M MANAGING and login with your Username and Password. Step 4: Select COUPLE OBU under the blue circle DECOUPLED OBUs. Tip: You can also select COUPLE OBU directly on the Vehicle details page. To access the Vehicle details page, click on the VEHICLES circle and then on the licence plate number which you want to couple. 15

16 Step 5: Select the OBU and the vehicle you want to couple. Click NEXT. Step 6: Select the payment method for paying the toll in post-paid mode. In Post-paid mode, you can pay with Credit Card or Fuel Card. Follow steps 6a-6b for top up with Credit Card. Follow steps 6c-6d for top up with Fuel Card. 16

17 Payment via Credit Card post-paid a. Select Credit Card and click NEXT. b. Follow the instructions on the secured payment provider page and pay the pre-authorisation amount of 45. This amount is blocked on the credit card and will not be withdrawn from your account as long as the Belgian roads are not used (and in no case prior to 1 April). Please note that the language of this payment page can be different than your default language on the RUP. 17

Payment via a Satellic Business Partner post-paid If you are already an existing customer of one of the following business partners (Colsea, Dats 24, Febetra, Gabriëls, Maes, Octa+, Power Oil, TLV,

19 Payment via a Satellic Business Partner post-paid If you are already an existing customer of one of the following business partners (Colsea, Dats 24, Febetra, Gabriëls, Maes, Octa+, Power Oil, TLV, ZMPD), you will be able to directly choose this Satellic business partner as a payment method. e. Select BUSINESS PARTNER and click NEXT. f. Your OBU is now coupled to the vehicle and the business partner.
