5 Databases CommerceCenter Play CommerceCenter Import CommerceCenter

6 Databases CommerceCenter Play Use to begin database creation After SA training is complete, copy this database and restore to Import Users eventually practice/train in this database

7 Databases CommerceCenter Import Use to import data Backup this database and restore from Play for users to verify data Once completely verified, backup and restore to CommerceCenter for your go-live

8 Databases CommerceCenter Production database Only database you will use from Go-live moving forward

9 Database Timeline Install SQL Server/ CommerceCenter 3 Databases Import data: CommerceCenter_Import Restore Import backups to Play for testing/verification Go Live Business Analysis SA/WBC Training Complete in DB Backup/Restore to CommerceCenter_I mport Go-live CommerceCenter_Import: data completely verified by users. Only the data necessary for go-live/history present no training/testing/play data

16 Restore the Database Overwrite the database with a previous copy Use when: Import data incorrectly Make adjustments to setup

26 Creating Login IDs User IDs must be created in SQL and in CommerceCenter Ability to assign multiple databases

28 Implementation and Login IDs Users must be able to access the databases during implementation Take care in assigning access to databases Accidents happen!! You may want to create a Play login id Use for all users during implementation Only access CommerceCenter_Play

29 New Login ID RMB on Login Select New Login

30 New Login ID Enter Login ID

31 New Login ID Determine how to authenticate login: Windows Authentication SQL Server Authentication

32 New Login ID Enter a Password if necessary Select the Default Database

33 New Login ID Select Database Access tab Select databases user may access In Database role field, select PxxiUser IF you want user to have access to DB outside of CC

34 Existing Login ID Edit an existing ID:

36 Deleting a Login ID Locate Login RMB > Select Delete
