Colours and Print: What is the difference between RGB, CMYK and Pantone Colours? RGB RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue. These are the colors you see when you look at on your computer screen or at photos taken with your digital camera. The colors are made up of a combination of these three hues. if you want to print an image from your computer, you will have to convert it to CMYK. B R G CMYK CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black and in general, CMYK is the type of colour that you find on most printed materials CMYK is also called four-colour process printing. In 4-color printing (process color),all of the colors you see are made up of combinations of dots in these four colors.most home grade, consumer & industrial printers use CMYK inks colors to reproduce. If you want to print very bright colours, metallic colours or other special effects colours, it is best to use Pantone colours. (Screen Printing / Litho Printing) C Y K M PANTONE Pantone Colors refer to a color matching system (Pantone Matching System or PMS) also often known as spot colours. Pantone colours are used by professional print shops around the world. They are a set of standardized and universal colours created by the printing industry in order to help designers, print shops and customers understand exactly what colours they are going to print. Pantone colours are pre-mixed colours with published color formulas. Every Pantone colours is referenced in a Pantone swatch books and each colour has number corresponding to it. Using a Pantone color ensures a perfect and consistent color match.

Laser engraving - Ideally on metalised products, the surface is etched using laser mark technology. Embossing/ Heat Stamping - Embossing by definition is the process of giving a 3-dimensional look to a material or product. Ideally for leather products. Available for Credit/Business Card USB s only. Foiling -Typically a commercial print process, is the application of pigment or metallic foil, often gold or silver. Full Colour Digital Print - With full colour printing you are able to print high quality photos and detailed on various plastic USB s This is a CMYK printing process. Domed Decal - Dome decals enhance your printed image with a raised polyurethane covering. Doming also adds durability to the decal by providing a layer of resin above the printing surface. Data loading service We can pre-load data-files, from simple information files through to complex flash presentations. Auto run - This feature allows a file or program to start automatically (Windows XP, Vista only) once the USB is inserted into the drive. This process works by effectively fooling the USB flash drive into thinking it is a CD-Rom as well as a USB flash device. This requires programming of the controller and cannot be removed by the user. Icon Creation & Naming of USB Device - Instead of the generic external USB devise logo we will create a digital brand so that your logo will appear as the USB devise icon file giving your USB that little bit extra personalisation as well as naming of the USB, This function only works on PC platform. Volume Label - The 'volume label' is the name assigned to the Flash Drive when the disk is first formatted or created. We can customise this name on your request up to a maximum of eleven characters. The customised device appears with this name when plugged into a computer: a small but noticeable touch.
