5 THE WELCOME PAGE The Welcome Page displays five ribbons with User options. Figure 1 - The Welcome Page 1.1 LOGIN If you are already a registered User use this ribbon to enter the site. PROCEDURE 1. LOGIN 1. Click Login. The Login ribbon expands 2. Click the NACC Site button. Figure 2 - NACC Site Button The Login dialogue box appears Figure 3 - Login Dialogue Box 3. Enter your user name and password 4. Click OK

6 1.2 FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD? PROCEDURE 2. PASSWORD RESET 1. Click Forgot your Password? Figure 4 - Password Reset Dialogue Box 2. In the User Identifier box, enter your user name. 3. In the Address box, enter the address that was used to create your account. Note: Text entry in the next step is case sensitive. 4. In the Enter Captcha box, enter the text that is displayed in the graphic above it (48UEH in the example above). 5. Click the Reset Password button. In the Retype new password box, enter your new password. 9. Click the Change Password button. Once the process is completed, a confirmation will be sent to your registered address 1.3 REQUEST A NEW ACCOUNT If you do not have an account on the NACC Web portal, you can initiate a request for one with this procedure. PROCEDURE 3. ACCOUNT CREATION REQUEST 1. Click Request a new account. The Request new account dialogue box opens Figure 7 - New Account Dialogue Box 2. In the First Name box, enter your first name. 8 3. In the Last Name box, enter your last name. Note: the address entered in the step below will become your registered address and will be used for all notifications generated by the NACC Web Portal and its administrators. 4. In the box, enter your address. 5. From the Rank/Grade drop-down box, select your rank or grade. 6. From the Nation/Organization drop-down box, select your Nation or Organization. 7. In the Phone box, enter your phone number. Note: Text entry in the next step is case sensitive. 8. In the Enter Captcha box, enter the text that is displayed in the graphic above it (498Y57 in the example above). 9. Click the Request a new Account button. An will be sent to the address that you entered at step 4 of this procedure. 10. In the , click the link. In the Access column, tick the box of each community for which access is required. 14. At the bottom of the table, click the Confirm Subscription button. An acknowledging your request will be sent to your registered address. 1.4 SUBSCRIBE TO COMMUNITIES Once you have an account, you can request to join one or more of the communities that are hosted on the Portal. Each request will be authorized by an administrator of the community that you wish to join. PROCEDURE 4. REQUEST FOR SUBSCRIPTION TO A COMMUNITY 1. At the Login page, click on Subscribe to Communities NATO UNCLASSIFIED 9

11 An acknowledging your request will be sent to your registered address. 1.5 CONTACT LIST From this page, you can see contact information for members of each community. PROCEDURE 5. FIND CONTACT DETAILS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS 1. At the login page, click on Contact List. 2. From the Community drop-down menu, select the target User s community. 3. Click the View Community contact list button. A list of all community members and their contact details are displayed. NATO UNCLASSIFIED 11
