1 How to register for your AP exam on Total Registration Website Access the website using this URL: You should see a screen that looks like this: You will need to create a profile by filling out this information Anytime you see this symbol the screen you will see:, you must enter the information requested. When you click NEXT this is All of this information must be filled out before you can continue. Click Next to go to the next screen. Click the Yes button then click Next to go to the next screen.

2 Be sure to complete EVERY field with the symbol. This information will be used to automatically fill out your first AP answer sheet so make sure it is correct since it cannot be changed once it is printed on the answer sheet. If you scored in the top 25% on a qualifying exam you MUST check the appropriate boxes in order to not have to pay for the exam! If you want to take an exam for a course you are NOT ENROLLED IN, place note that in the last box on this page. Click the Next button to go to the Parent/Guardian information

Click on Next button to register for the specific exams you will be taking. Please note that you must check BOTH the exam AND the teacher/period.

4 If you want to take an exam that is not listed, you can check the yes box and the AP Testing Coordinator will advise you whether MHS will give that exam. After you have selected all the exams that you will be taking, click the Next button to move to college/university selection page. If you select no this is the screen you will see. (You can fill this in manually at the time of the test if you don t want to select a college/university at this time.)

5 If you select yes you will be given two drop-down boxes to select State and College/University. This information is printed on your first answer sheet and cannot be changed. Select the Next button to go to the payment screen UNLESS YOU ARE NOT REQUESTING A FEE WAIVER. See page 7 for instructions. Even if you believe that you DO NOT OWE anything for your exam, you will be sent to this screen. At this point in the process, the system believes everyone will owe something for their exam so you will need to check one of the boxes and then click the Next button. After the payment page you will get a confirmation page that contains all the registration information you have entered. Top part of the confirmation page Your personal information is in this section. Be sure it is correct.

6 Confirmation Page Information Your Parent/Guardian information is in this section. Be sure it is correct Make sure all your AP exams are listed. Fee waivers will need to be approved by the AP Testing Coordinator before your registration is complete. This includes the exams that LISD pays for such as English, Math and Science exams. Your specific exam information is located in this section along with a total amount owed. If you are claiming a top 25% score, the exam fee will still show up until the AP Coordinator approves that your exam is free. You need to review ALL the information and go back to correct any errors before you click the Next button.

7 If you checked that you are paying online, you will see the page on the left in TR that will allow you to go to RevTrak, page on right, to make payment. If you do not already have an account set up with RevTrak, you will need to create one specifically for RevTrak. If you checked the box for a free/reduced lunch (ECO designation) or a top 25% qualifying exam, the next screen will look similar to one of these: Remember, if you are requesting a reduce fee for ECO or are claiming a free exam for at top 25% qualifying score, your registration will not be completed until the AP Coordinator confirms your eligibility and you receive an or text indicating that you need to log back into TR to finish your registration and pay your exam fees (if any are owed). After the AP Coordinator approves the fee reduction, you will get an from Monterey Senior High School <info@totalregistration.net> that will have a copy of your confirmation registration information along with a copy of the AP Testing Policies. You need to log back into your Total Registration account and you will see a page that looks similar to this one:

8 Click Make a Payment to be transferred to RevTrak s payment site. You will see the following screen that lets you choose between paying online or paying the AP Coordinator with a check at school in room 120. If you click the Credit or Debit Card option, you will be taken to a screen that summarized what exams you are taking, any fee waivers that have been applied and the total that you owe. Read and then click the Refund Policy Box. Then click the PayNow box at the bottom of the page to be transferred to another page that says you are going to be transferred to RevTrak. Click Proceed to Payment and you will see this scree that allows you create an account, if you don t already have one, or log into RevTrak to make payment.
