Box 128 Joplin MO Phone (417) May 1, 2018 General Information Joplin Schools is accepting bids from parties interested in purchasing the surplus band and percussion equipment on the attached list. All equipment is in a variety of conditions. You may bid on any or all of the items. The bid will be awarded to the highest bidder for each individual item. Technical questions about the music equipment should be directed to Mike Wassenaar, JHS Band Director, at mikewassenaar@joplinschools.org. The successful buyer will arrange pick-up of the equipment at the buyer s expense. Arrangements should be made through Mike Wassenaar (see contact information above). Questions about bidding procedures may be directed to G.G. Mathis, Staff Accountant, at (417) , ext (ggmathis@joplinschools.org) Bidding Instructions 1. Proposals must be received by by noon, Tuesday, May 15, You may mail a hard copy to the attention of the Finance Department (see address above), or your bid as directed in #2 below. Joplin Schools will provide a recap of bids received to all bidders via following the bid deadline. 2. ed bids should be sent to sealedbid@joplinschools.org by the date and time specified. Be sure that the subject line reads BID SURPLUS INSTRUMENTS. When you send the bid to the district s secure mailbox, you should receive a complimentary thank you auto reply message. If you do not receive this message please contact G.G. Mathis at ext immediately. The District is not responsible for lateness or non-delivery by the U.S. Postal Service or by to the District. The time and date recorded by the District shall be the official time of receipt. Late bids will not be considered.
