2 CITY OF LA MIRADA NOTICE OF INVITING BIDS PURCHASE OF DESKTOP COMPUTERS Notice is given that the City of La Mirada hereby invites sealed bids for the purchase of 35 Dell OptiPlex 3060 Small Form Factor desktop computers, which in the opinion of the City, best meet or exceed the specifications described herein, and offer the best value to the City. Sealed bids are to be delivered to City of La Mirada, City Clerk, La Mirada Boulevard, La Mirada, CA 90638, no later than 5 p.m. on February 19, The City Clerk s time stamp shall be conclusive as to the date and time of bid receipt. All sealed bids must have the following information plainly marked on the outside of the envelope or package: BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF CITY DESKTOP COMPUTERS. Bids must be submitted on the blank form furnished by the City for that purpose. BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED RESPONSIVE AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their bid is received by the City Clerk and time stamped before the closing date and time. Bidders assume all risks of non-delivery or delayed delivery as to bids that are mailed or are otherwise delivered by a third party. The City will in no way be responsible for any delays. NOTICE TO PROCEED WITH ORDER Submission of a bid is a binding offer to provide the computers. Bidder shall not deliver any computers without first having entered into an agreement with the City of La Mirada for the same. ACCEPTANCE OF PRODUCT The City shall not accept, and shall have no obligation to pay, for any computers, unless and until the successful bidder demonstrates to City s satisfaction that each computer properly does its intended purpose. 4

An award of a contract, if made, shall be on the basis of which bid, in City s sole discretion, provides the best value to the City taking into consideration the quality and reliability of the product offered, documented lifespan, delivery time, the length and scope of the warranty, cost of maintenance, cost of the product, and any other factor relevant to this procurement. We, the undersigned, offer and agree to furnish the required computers at the price(s) set forth above, subject to the terms and conditions herein.
