Table 2 lists the definitions of the attributes specific to the Ethernet IP Datalink object. Definition See Table 2 in the Metasys Common Object chapter (LIT ). Indicates the number of octets for the device address (Data Link Address). Indicates the IP port number that the device uses to transmit and receive messages. Indicates the address used when sending broadcast messages. Indicates the number of broadcast messages received. Indicates the number of broadcast message transmissions. Indicates the bytes received from the Ethernet. Indicates the bytes sent to the Ethernet. Indicates that excessive collisions occurred and send aborted. Indicates the address of the device (Data Link Address). Indicates the number of errors detected when receiving messages from the Ethernet. Indicates the number of errors detected when sending messages to the Ethernet. Indicates the number of messages received. Indicates the number of message transmissions. Indicates that more than one collision occurred during the successful sending of message. Indicates the BACnet Network address of this data link. Indicates that one collision occurred during the successful sending of a message. Indicates that an Out-of-Window Collision occurred during the successful sending of a message. Indicates the number of data packets received from the Ethernet. Indicates the number of data packets lost when receiving messages from the Ethernet due to momentary shortage of receive buffers. Indicates the number of data packets sent to the Ethernet. Indicates the date of the clear statistics command. Indicates the time of the clear statistics command. Indicates the number of retry attempts. Indicates the data packet Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) errors. Indicates First-In-First-Out (FIFO) overruns on the Ethernet chip. Indicates the data packet is too large. Indicates miscellaneous errors like ring buffer corrupt, ring buffer overflow, frame alignment error, FIFO overrun, missed packet. Indicates ring buffer overflows on the Ethernet chip. Indicates carrier sense errors.
5 Object Dictionary 5 Attribute Name (Cont.) TX Delayed Errors TX FIFO Errors TX Other Errors TX SQE Errors Transmit Failures Definition Indicates the delay due to busy media/network. Indicates the FIFO underruns. Indicates miscellaneous errors like transmit timeout, remote Direct Memory Access (DMA) failure. Indicates sequence (SQE) errors. Indicates the number of message transmit failures.
6 6 Ethernet IP Datalink Commands The Ethernet IP Datalink object supports the commands listed in Table 3. The order of the commands in the table reflects how the commands appear on the user interface. Table 3: Supported Commands Command Name Parameters Access Level Description Latch Statistics Operate Allows a current reading of the statistics. Clear Statistics Operate Allows the user to clear the statistics. Controls Group 507 E. Michigan Street P.O. Box 423 Milwaukee, WI Printed in U.S.A.
