3 Notebooks and Pages you can have as many notebooks as you want; a notebook can have as many pages as it needs. tap on "Notebooks" button here (in portrait mode) and tap on "+" button to add a new notebook. tap on a notebook in the list to select notebook to work on; tap on it one more time to view list of pages (with thumbnails). TIP: Try landscape mode. quick navigation between pages: - scroll page up pass the bottom (next) - scroll page down pass the top (previous)

7 Type video-tutorial-text-input tap with two fingers, anywhere, to start typing Page 7 of 10 - Apr 1, 2011 if you feel uncomfortable to tap with two fingers, go to App Settings and turn it off; you will see an "A" button on toolbar; tap on it and tap anywhere on the page to start typing - default with text button on toolbar when done, tap outside of the text area to end typing to edit, resize, or re-arrange text, tap on it to select tap on the Tool button to change font face, font size, and font color TIP: when using the "A" button, to type somewhere else without tapping the button again, use Dismiss button on the keyboard

8 Shapes video-tutorial-shape-detection Page 8 of 10 - Apr 1, 2011 it's not what you can do, it's how you do it (and that defines class) start drawing a shape, the app will auto-detect and insert it in for you to resize, move, edit a shape, tap on it to select TIP: if a shape is filled, tap inside it to select; if it is only stroked, tap on its edge don't like shape detection because it's annoying? turn it off in App Settings TIP: your drawing has to be bigger than a certain size to kick off shape detection (this is to prevent unwanted shape detection while writing) - set this size in App Settings

9 Select, Re-arrange, and Erase again, it's not what you can do, it's how you do it Page 9 of 10 - Apr 1, Eraser draw a circle around objects to select if you actually meant to draw around objects, not select, tap on "Didn't mean to select" button drag selected objects to move, drag on resize handles to resize this cross will erase this line TIP: turn off selection and deletion gesture in App Settings also, deletion gesture won't be activated for large stroke width; assumed that you want to highlight, not erase TIP: circle around different areas to select multiple regions
