2 Quick Start Guide It's important to read this user manual prior to using your new product for the first time. Important Safety Instructions Electrical Device Warning Do not use the laptop in the environment at too high or too low temperature, never expose the laptop under strong sunshine or too wet environment. The suitable temperature for the laptop and accessories is 0 ~40. The AC adaptor and apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus. Do not pinch, bend, or put heavy or sharp objects on its electrical cord. Do not attempt to disassemble the cabinet. This device does not contain customer serviceable components. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. No naked flame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the device. Unplug from the wall outlet during a storm. Always leave sufficient space around the device for ventilation. Do not use or place the device on soft surface such as a bed or cushion which could make the device build up heat. Do not handle the device roughly or subject it to falls, pressure, shock, or violent movement

3 Do not use the device while driving a car or doing any other activities in which loss of concentration could lead to potential harm to self or others. The adaptor shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. When charging, please place the laptop in an environment that has a normal room temperature and good ventilation. It is recommended to charge the laptop in an environment with a temperature that ranges from 5 ~25. Please ensure to use only the charger offered by the manufacturer. Using unauthorized charger may cause danger and violate the authorization of the laptop and the guarantee article. The maximum operating ambient temperature of the equipment declared by the manufacturer is 40. Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. SAR statement The SAR limit of Europe is 2.0 W/kg. Laptop has also been tested against this SAR limit. The highest SAR value reported under this standard during product certification for use at the body is W/kg. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the handset kept 0 cm from the body. To maintain compliance with RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0cm separation distance between the user s body and the back of the handset. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided. 5 basic operation Turning on your laptop for the first time IMPORTANT! Please Read. We recommend fully charging your laptop before using it for the first time. For optimal operation, please connect the provided AC adaptor to your laptop when it falls below 20% charge. Be sure your home Wi-Fi network is turned on and connected to the internet. To wall outlet Press the power turn on the unit. button to Notes You cannot switch on the unit if the battery level is less than 5%. Please charge the unit for more than 20 minutes then switch on the unit. The laptop battery requires about 4 hours to fully charge

6 ( ) ( ) If the screen orientation changes to portrait format, please undock your laptop from the keyboard. Select the language and region, then tap and follow the onscreen instructions to setup the laptop. Laptop docking The keyboard connects to the laptop via the Connector. When the connection is successful: If the laptop is in PC mode, it will automatically adjust its settings to use the keyboard. If the laptop is in Tablet mode, the message box "Do you want to exit tablet mode?" will display on the bottom of the screen. Choose Yes or No to proceed

8 To lock / unlock the screen rotation 1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen or tap the icon in the lower-right corner of the screen to launch the Action Center screen. 2. Tap Rotation lock to turn it on/off. Note: If the Rotation lock can not be set, please undock the Keyboard or remove any other accessories via the USB connection. To switch Tablet mode on/off 1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen or tap the icon in the lower-right corner of the screen to launch the Action Center screen. 2. Tap Tablet mode to turn it on/off. Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network 1. Go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> Wi-Fi, slide it to the On position. 2. The device will scan Wi-Fi networks automatically and display those available. 3. Select an access point from the list of available Wi-Fi connections, than tap Connect. 4. When you are prompted for a password, enter your password and tap Next

9 If the device finds a network that you connected to previously, it will connect to it automatically. If the Wi-Fi network does not appear in the list, it maybe a hidden network, please tap "Hidden Network" and input SSID name of network along with password for a connection. Tip: You can touch and hold the Wi-Fi icon in Action Center screen until the Go to Settings appears and then tap it to enter the Wi-Fi setting screen. Turn on the laptop screen from standby mode Press the power button to turn on the laptop screen. Swipe up the lock screen from the bottom edge of the display. Sleep / Standby mode Press the power button to turn off the laptop screen

10 Power Off your laptop Tap on the screen or on your keyboard. Tap Power, it will display 3 options (Sleep, Shut down and Restart). Select Shut down to power the laptop off

11 OR Press and hold the power button until with the message "Slide to shut down your PC" appears. Slide down. down. Your PC is now shut Note When the lid is closed, the unit does not change to standby or sleep mode. Press & hold the power button for 10 seconds to force SHUT DOWN the unit. Trouble Shooting The device won t start This may happen if your battery is empty. Please connect the provided AC adaptor to a wall outlet. Windows is not active automatically Windows will be active automatically once you connect your laptop to a Wi-Fi network. Make sure that you have a Wi-Fi network connection

12 Laptop displays network or service error message When you are located in places with poor signal, your laptop may lose its Wi-Fi connection. Try moving closer to the Wi-Fi router. Touch screen response is slow or incorrect If the laptop s touch screen response is incorrect, please try the following: Remove any protective film on the touch screen. The protective film may prevent the device recognition input. Make sure that your fingers are dry and clean before you tap the touch screen. Restart the laptop to clear any temporary software bugs. Laptop is frozen or a serious error appears If the laptop is frozen or slow to respond, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to force SHUT DOWN the unit, then press the power button to turn on your laptop again. 19 基本操作首次開機使用重要注意事項! 請認真閱讀首次使用本機之前請將電池充滿電為了更好的使用本機, 一旦電池的電量低于 20% 請用提供的充電器給本機充電確定 Wi-Fi 網路為開啟狀態, 并已接通互聯網連接到電源插座按電源開關鈕開啟平板電腦注意如果電池的電量少於 5% 平板電腦將不能開機, 請將電池充電超過 20 分鐘然後再開機使用本機大約需要 4 個小時充滿電 - 4 -

20 如果屏幕轉換為豎屏, 請從鍵盤上取下平板電腦選擇語言和區域, 然后輕觸, 并依照屏幕上的提示信息進行操作安裝平板電腦到鍵盤平板電腦由底部的鍵盤接口連接到鍵盤安裝好之后 : 如果平板電腦在 PC 模式, 平板電腦就可直接使用如果平板電腦是在平板電腦模式, 信息是否要結束平板電腦模式? 將會顯示在屏幕的左下方, 您可選擇是或否 - 5 -

22 旋轉鎖定 / 解鎖 1. 從屏幕的右側向左滑動以開啟重要訊息中心或輕觸屏幕右下角的圖標 2. 輕觸旋轉鎖定來鎖定 / 解鎖注意 : 如果不能設定旋轉鎖定項, 請取下鍵盤或其他通過 USB 連接的附件開啟 / 關閉平板電腦模式 1. 從屏幕的右側向左滑動以開啟重要訊息中心或輕觸屏幕右下角的圖標 2. 輕觸平板電腦模式來開啟 / 關閉此模式連接到 Wi-Fi 網路 1. 進入設定 -> 網路和網際網路 -> Wi-Fi, 向右滑動將其設定為開 2. 系統將自動掃描 Wi-Fi 網路, 會顯示附近可用的網路 3. 選擇一個可用的網路并輕觸連線 4. 如有需要, 請輸入密碼并輕觸下一步 - 7 -

23 如果系統掃描到之前已用過的網路, 此網路會自動連接如果您所要的 Wi-Fi 網路沒有顯示在屏幕, 它有可能是一個隱藏的網路, 請輕觸隱藏的網路并輸入網路 SSID 名稱和密碼提示 : 您也可以進入重要訊息中心按住 Wi-Fi 網路圖標設定直到顯示移至設定, 并輕觸它進入 Wi-Fi 省電模式開啟屏幕短按電源開關鈕開啟屏幕從屏幕底部向上滑動解鎖屏幕睡眠 / 省電模式短按電源開關鈕關閉屏幕 - 8 -

24 關機輕觸屏幕左下角的圖標或按鍵盤上的此鍵輕觸屏幕左下角的電源開關圖標, 將會顯示 3 個選項 ( 睡眠關機和重新啟動 ). 輕觸關機 - 9 -

25 或者按住電源開關鈕直到屏幕顯示信息滑動以將電腦關機和提示向下滑動來關機注意僅僅合上平板電腦, 不會進入省電 / 睡眠模式按住開關電源按鈕 10 秒鐘會強行關機故障排除本機無法啟動電池電量不足的情況下本機無法啟動請將充電器插入電源插座給本機充電 Windows 無法自動激活一旦本機連接到無線網路,Windows 將會自動激活確定無線網路已經連接

26 屏幕顯示網路或服務器錯誤的提示信息如果您所在位置的 Wi-Fi 網路信號較弱, 可能無法連接請靠近 Wi-Fi 網路路由器觸摸屏的回應緩慢或不正確如果平板電腦的觸摸屏回應不正確, 請對照以下操作點 : 拿走屏幕保護膜, 保護膜可能會防礙觸摸識別在觸摸屏幕之前確保手指干燥且干凈重啟平板電腦來清除任何臨時存在的軟件小故障平板電腦出現死機或嚴重的錯誤提示按住開關電源按鈕 10 秒鐘進行強行關機, 然後按開關電源按鈕重新開啟本機產品規格電源 : 直流電輸入 5V( 充電器操作 ) 讀卡器 :mircosd 卡槽支持最高存儲容量 128GB 接口 : 高速 USB 3.0 無線連接 :IEEE b/g/n
