6 Page 6 of 6 Rubric for Literary Elements student story Creative Writing Project Character Describes character using vocabulary from character trait sheet, character s conflict/goal, how character resolves conflict/achieves goal, and how character changes over time. Setting Describes the setting giving evidence of past/present/future, and season using figurative language. Plot Evidence of a plot that follows a sequential order. *(rising action, climax, falling action). Grade Scale Conflict Evidence of conflict, explains why the conflict occurs, and explains how the conflict is resolved. Theme Evidence of a theme in story as provided in the theme worksheet. Website Evidence of understanding navigation of website as per check list provided.
