3 1. Site Title & Domain Name Site Title: The Chicago Punks Domain Name: 2. Focus The Chicago Punks are a fictional football team based off of Chicago. The website will focus on attracting more people to the team by displaying their brief history. The site will also focus on career highlights, upcoming games, player stats, and a support page. What will make this a different webpage from the rest of the football sites is that content on the site will be more comical instead of news like. This will soften up the user to liking the team more and thus help the team create a bigger fan base. 3. Design Goals The website will consist of about ten webpages. The colors that the team has decided to use are based off of the Chicago flag. The Chicago flag uses the colors red, sky blue, and white. The hex numbers for these are #FF0000 (RED), #7EC0EE (SKY BLUE), and #FFFFFF (WHITE). The main navigation will be displayed on top of the page and it will be aligned going horizontal. The footer will have a random did you know fact about the team on each webpage. The center of the page will be located for all the main content, which will be discussed below, and the left side will contain links to all the webpages in the site. The width of the site will be 975px as that is standard to fit all computer screens. The bottom of all webpages will also have W3C validation so other developers know that the code is up to current standard. 4. Target Audience The website will target all fans of football. Football fans come in all ages and sizes and The Chicago Punks have a place for them. The site will be comical, like stated before, so a person of any age can feel welcomed and hopefully will stay on the site to become a fan of the team (or join the bandwagon when they win). PAGE 2

Main Elements & Content Description Main Elements: Home, History, Team, Schedule, League, Shop, Donations, Contact Us Main page (home): A standard home page with a picture of the logo and the full name of the team. The name of the league they are a part of and their recent score on the last game they played, along with what team they played. (1 Webpage) History: will feature a brief history of team and how they have become 6 time Super Bowl champion in only 9 years. The page will feature past hall of fame players on the team and recent awards won. (1 Webpage) Team: will feature the team roster with each player s height, weight, etc. The team will have a total of 15 players. This page will also have a link to the injury report where you can see what players are hurt on the team. (3 Total Webpages) - Q&A with team players and how they feel the season is going so far (1 webpage) - Injury report (1 webpage) Schedule: this page will feature the schedule for the season. (1 Webpage) League: This page will feature stylized names of the other teams that are in the league. There are about teams. (2 Total Webpages) - Standings: this page will feature the recent standings within the whole league.(1 webpage) Shop: This page will feature merchandise like baby bibs, carpets, and any other random objects people will buy when they are huge fans of the team. (1 Webpage) Donations: This will be the page for donations and proceeds will go to buying new football gear for the players. (Gear isn t cheap) (1 Webpage) Contact us: This page will be contact info for the team (name, fake phone numbers to call, fake s to send fan mail to, and the address of their home field). (1 Webpage) Total Pages: 11 Webpages 6. Limiting Factors Some limiting factors include color choice and audience. The Chicago Punks want to stay true to the city so the only colors that can be used are red, sky blue and, PAGE 3

5 white. One of the struggles the designer will have is trying to use only these three colors to make the website appealing for the user to look at. The audience, age 18-34, will be another factor as they might feel their intelligence is being poked fun at as this site will try to use joking tactics to hook the user to being a fan of the team.
