4 User Journey 1: Paul Group Landing Page Key Projects Find Person Instant messaging tool Document Exchange: Current working documents tool Bupa Live Group Persona #3 Scenario: Paul. Paul has been told by a colleague that a key project has been announced in a research area that he has experience in. He wants to find out more and get in touch with someone involved in the project with a view to possible collaboration. 1. Paul opens the Group portal landing page and looks at Project announcements. He sees the headline referring to the project and clicks on it to read more 2. He reads about the project, which has been initiated by a business unit in another part of Bupa. He identifies the person organising the project and decides to find them using the Bupa people find tool. 3. He enters the name of the person and submits his search. He scans the results returned and finds the person he is looking for. He notices that they both share a number of interests and that the person is currently online. Paul decides to contact them using the Instant Messaging tool. 4. He makes contact and expresses his interest in the project. The project organiser asks to see a paper that Paul mentions he is working on. 5. Paul retrieves the latest version of the paper from the Secure document area and forwards it via his Bupa mail tool. 6. He sends a message with the paper attached and notices a message notifying him about a new post to one of his Bupa Live groups. 7. He goes to the group page and comments on the post.

5 User Journey 2: Mary Landing Page Vacancies Documents Exchange Learning & Development tool Updates Group Event Page event details Persona #5 Scenario: Mary. Mary has been asked by a friend whether there are any vacancies for care assistants in the local area and what options there are for training and development in post. 1. Mary opens the Group Landing page and sees the Vacancies section. She clicks through to the page. 2. She uses the vacancy search function to find a local position for a care assistant and looks at the details. Seeing that it would be suitable for her friend, she decides to download an application form to print off. 3. She downloads the job description and application form and goes back to the Portal landing page as she remembers seeing the Bupa Learn Learning & Development tool. 4. She uses the tool to see how Bupa Learn can help with training. 5. Mary notices an event in the local updates section that she would be interested in attending. She clicks the link to see more 6. Mary reads the event details and decides she would be interested in attending if she has the time, so she chooses the keep me informed option and prints off the page.

This is the pre-personalisation (or single login) version of the portal home page. The intention here is to provide a tenable framework (or seedbed ) to allow for more extensive future personalisation (illustrated in the next wireframe). As there are presently multiple logins, the intention here is to embed them in the tasks for example, if someone accesses the Secure Documents area or their , they will be prompted to login. 1. Clicking on the Version Espanol link will toggle the portal to a Spanishlanguage version. 2. Links to local non-secure intranet content and tools surfaced on the Group portal. Default setting will be determined from where the user is accessing the portal. 3. Document Exchange: allows a number of ways to directly access local and global documents along with routes into the secure document management system. 4. Group section, contains links to content in the About Bupa and Initiatives & Research sections along with links to Bupa live. 5. Bupa people: Search box allows a quick keyword search. Advanced search will take the user to the People Search form which will allow them to specify more in-depth criteria. Browse will take the user to a directory. Talent locator: takes user to a network mapping interactive graphical tool which will allow the user to find different pockets of talent across BUPA international. Vacancies: allows the user a quick keyword search. Just in shows feeds from local intranet vacancies pages, which will be aggregated on the group Vacancies page. 6. Global news and announcements and feeds from local intranet news stories (which will be aggregated on the Around Bupa News group page) and events notifications (aggregated on the Events group page). 7. Bupa Learn tool surfaces content from Bupa Learn. 8. Global clock tool: interacting with the world map will allow the user to change the time zone. Default setting will be determined from where the user is accessing the portal. The calendar will indicate important events, public holidays in the region etc. 9. Links to common tasks within Bupa live: user will be taken to the login page and then to the specific task in their Bupa live view , Messaging and Network Conferencing tools: launches mail Instant Messaging, SMS tools, links to tele, video and web conferencing tools on Bupa live. 11. Connect to Leadership: gives information about featured senior management people, links to blog, One Life and Bupa live discussions.

The Document Exchange becomes more personalised as he is automatically signed into the Secure Document management system and Bupa Live and so can directly download restricted reports and access secure documents he is working / collaborating on. 5. Bupa people: shows the most recent person viewed along with other search results. Paul can mail, message or phone from here. 6. Bupa live activity: shows current activity on Paul s view: he has configured feeds for Your stuff, Connections and Notifications. The tab will be highlighted when new activity happens: here, Notifications is highlighted. 7. Your Bupa news: Paul has configured this to show local news of interest to him (role, skills, area) along with industry news. 8. Bupa Learn: shows Paul s activity on Bupa learn and provides access to surfaced content. 9. and messaging tools: tool shows new messages in Paul s inbox. 10. Forums: shows the latest threads in forums that Paul subscribes to.
