JAMP Format Revised March 1, 2012 December 12, 2008 Panasonic Corporation We deeply appreciate your day-to-day cooperation in the Panasonic Group's environmental activities. I will explain the overview of the JAMP format such as AIS and MSDSplus, which are used to communicate information on chemical substance content. 1

[ JAMP Format ] 1. AIS/ MSDSplus Overview 2

Characteristics of the JAMP Format Characteristics - Uses separate formats for preparations (MSDSplus) and articles (AIS). AIS: - Identification in layers by product/part/material/substance - Substances are reported on a uniform material basis 1) Five-layer data structure (no layer structure for MSDSplus) 2) Material items are retained ( in consistency with the auto industry's list); applications and material classification JAMP, AIS Layer 1 Power supply Layer 2 Layer 3 (Added) Original parts Terminal Filter Information on original Original parts parts is retained Electrode Layer 4 Material Material Layer 5 Chemical substance Chemical substance I would like to explain the characteristics of the JAMP format, which serves as the industry standard. Separate formats are used for MSDSplus and AIS. The former is used for a "preparation", which has uniform composition throughout a product. The latter is used for an "article", which has differing material composition by part (e.g. electronic component). In AIS, identification in five layers by product/assembled part/part/material/substance is enabled. Substances are reported on a uniform material basis. Material classification with consideration to consistency with the auto industry's classification is used for the material items. 3

JAMP, AIS Layer 1 (Product name) Layer 2 (level) Original parts Layer 3 (components) Terminal Layer 4 (material) Layer 5 (substance) Power supply Material Chemical substance Data Structure of AIS Filter Original parts Electrode Material Chemical substance Information on original parts is retained Highest layer: Product name Layer: Information on the composition from product name to original parts Components (parts): Part formed with a single base material (excluding surface treatment) constituting original parts Material: Type of material constituting the structure of parts etc. Substance: Chemical substance constituting the material Chemical substance contents are fixed in the process of producing original parts*1. Original parts information is important. Original parts information is retained through information communication for Complex articles*2. *1. First article composition manufactured through processes such as molding, drying, heating and/or coating of preparations, in which chemical substance contents are fixed. *2. Parts and products processed and manufactured combining multiple original parts and chemical substances/preparations. AIS focuses on original parts information, because chemical substance contents are fixed for the first time in the process of producing original parts. Once there are no longer changes to substances and compositions, and the chemical substance contents are fixed, only then, the following processes will assemble the fixed contents and the relevant information will be combined. Therefore, original parts information must be retained without totaling in the subsequent information communication chain, even if the parts level constituting the product becomes more complex. 4

Composition of Material Information 1. Use - The identification of use is considered necessary for adequate understanding and response concerning managed substances, since their regulatory status may differ according to use (e.g., RoHS exemptions). - Surface treatment information is considered necessary in replies to the automotive industry. (JAMA/JAPIA sheet) 2. Material name - Materials are defined under two categories: "General materials" and "Surface treatment materials." - For details, see JAMP AIS "Material Classification Manual." 3. Materials Classification No. - Automatically assigned corresponding to material names. Normal case (other than surface treatments) Base material Clad Attached agent Solder joint Inner preparation (e.g., applied on preparations used for operation) Surface treatment materials Plating Thermal spraying Chemical conversion treatment PVD CVD Painting Marking 4. Material Code of Public Standard (Entry is mandatory in case the code is known) - Entry of public codes is effective for IMDS, a database used in the automotive industry. Data entry is not difficult once classification codes of ISO, JIS, DIN etc., for materials used in your products are listed. I would like to explain on material information in AIS. Material information comprises of four items. The first item is material use. This item is provided, since it is necessary to identify the use when the regulatory status varies according to use, as with the exemptions in ELV and RoHS Directives, and surface treatment material-related information is required for responding to surveys in the automotive industry. In addition, checking the material's use during data entry is less likely to lead to the mistake of entering the substance as a homogeneous material. Second, Material name, which corresponds to "Component materials" in the old GP-Web. There are two categories: "Normal case" and "Surface treatment materials." Detailed items are defined for iron, aluminum and other individual materials. Third, material classification No, which are automatically assigned corresponding to material names. Finally, material code of public standard. Please enter the codes if you know the codes, because entry of the codes is effective for responding surveys in the automotive industry. 5

Information on Material Standards for Recycled Plastic Material standards for plastic ISO The following standards were amended in November 2011 ISO1043-1:2011 Symbols and abbreviations for plastic, part 1: basic polymer molecule and features ISO1043-2:2011 Symbols and abbreviations for plastic, part 2: filling/strengthening material - Established symbols regarding recycled plastic For parts/products that intentionally use recycled plastic as an environmentally conscious design, enter the corresponding symbol in the Material Code of Public Standard. - Enter (REC) behind the abbreviation for plastic type - Enter the minimum percentage of recycled plastic when indicating the recycling material ratio (E.g.) - Recycled polypropylene ISO1043 PP(REC) - 50% recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) ISO1043 PET(REC50) - 10% recycled HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) ISO1043 PS-HI(REC10) Of the material code of public standard regarding materials, for plastic, refer to ISO1043. This ISO1043 was amended in November 2011, and symbols for recycled plastic were introduced. If your parts or products intentionally use recycled plastic in some or all of the materials as an environmentally conscious design, please follow this rule and enter in the Material Code of Public Standards field with singlebyte alphanumerical characters. 6

Entry criteria for content information to AIS and MSDSplus Enter all information if a declarable substance is "intentionally added" (no thresholds for reporting) - reporting criteria for declarable substances Legal threshold Yes None Concentration Equal to or more than the threshold Less than the threshold Equal to or more than 0.1wt% Less than 0.1wt% Unintentional content Reporting required Reporting not mandatory * Reporting required Reporting not mandatory * Intentional content Reporting required - If necessary, a confidentiality agreement will be concluded in disclosing information. Enter "Content" and communicate the following information for the relevant compositions: Substance name, CAS No., content (wt%), corresponding standard Note: Entry unnecessary for non-corresponding compositions The next is the explanation on entry criteria regarding content information in AIS and MSDS plus. Enter all information if the declarable substance is "intentionally added." In other words, there is no threshold for reporting. Disclosure of information for each homogeneous material is required in AIS, and reporting is required when the unintentional content such as impurities or residue from material manufacturing exceeds the legal threshold or 0.1wt%. The declarable substances of JAMP are selected for being hazardous under any laws/regulations. If there is any problem such as risk of leakage of product know-how due to the disclosure of content information, a confidentiality agreement will be concluded between the recipient who is the customer, as necessary. 7

Reference: Input on the GP-Web screen Information input equivalent to AIS is possible on the GP-Web screen. For details, see the "GP-Web System Basic Operation Manual for Suppliers" and e-learning. GP-Web System: In principle, registration on the GP-Web should be completed by updating AIS. However, information input equivalent to AIS is possible on the GP- Web screen. For details, please see the GP-Web System Basic Operation Manual for Suppliers and the GP-Web section in the e-learning. 8

[ JAMP Format ] 2. Procedures for Preparing AIS 9

Overall Flow of AIS Formulation (Example) for Panasonic Step 1. Confirm information for each component parts and materials for each purchase. Step 2. Collect the chemical substance content information for each component (of homogeneous material) from upstream manufacturers, for each purchase. Step 3. Identify chemical compositions and reactions at your site. Step 4. Create a list for each product component part, and formulate a draft AIS. - Formulate a list of materials and chemical substances for each component part. Part specifications Purchases Component part material (1) to (4) data MSDSplus, AIS etc. Material data Chemical substance data (4) (2) (3) AIS of Purchase (1) Step 5. Copy the draft to the AIS, and enter any other necessary items. Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet using the AIS Input Support Tool, and export the XML. Step 7. Submit the data to the Panasonic Group (Upload the XML to the GP-Web). I will explain the procedures for preparing AIS. The specific process of AIS formulation is as follows. The overall process comprises Steps 1 through 7. Step 1, confirm information on each component and materials for each purchase. Step 2. Collect chemical substance content information for each component (of homogeneous material) from upstream manufacturers for each purchase. Step 3. Identify chemical compositions and reactions at your site. Step 4. Create a list for each product component part, and formulate draft AIS. Step 5. Using the AIS Input Support Tool, copy the draft to AIS and add any other necessary items. Step 6. Using the AIS Input Support Tool, formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. Finally, upload the XML to the GP-Web as a submission to the Panasonic Group. 10

Step 1 Step 1. Confirm information for each component and materials for each purchase. Example of a mechanism part (front panel) made by Company A Component part Plug mold body Metal fittings Purchase Supplier Base material Painting Marking Metal fittings Company P Company Q Company R Company S Process Molded and processed by Company A, using purchased resin pellets Painting is undertaken by Company A, using purchased paint Marking is undertaken by Company A, using purchased ink Assembled by Company A, using purchased metal fitting parts I will provide specific explanation taking an example of a front panel as a mechanism part. This part is made by Company A, consisting of a plug mold body and metal fittings. It includes four purchases. First, the base material is molded and processed by Company A, using resin pellets purchased from Company P. The painting is undertaken by Company A, using paint purchased from Company Q. The marking is undertaken by Company A, using ink purchased from Company R. The metal fittings are assembled by Company A, using the metal fitting parts purchased from Company S. 11

Step 2 for Panasonic Step 2. Collect chemical substance content information for each component part (of the homogeneous material) from upstream manufacturers, for each purchase. 1) Points to note in requesting chemical substance content information from upstream manufacturers - Once again, please reconfirm that you are not using any substances specified in the prohibited substances level 1 as specified in the Panasonic Chemical Substances Management Rank Guidelines. - Ensure that chemical substance content information is reported on a homogeneous material basis. - In MSDSplus and AIS, ensure that substances that require reporting under JIG, GADSL etc. are also reported. Ensure that all the chemical substances registered in the Input Support Tool are reported. (* If disclosure of all composition is requested by Panasonic, please urge upstream manufacturers to report all composition.) 2) Points to note in checking MSDSplus and AIS obtained from upstream manufacturers - Confirm that substances that require reporting under JIG, GADSL etc. are also listed. (* If disclosure of all composition is requested by Panasonic, please check that all the composition are reported.) - Confirm that the reported information lists not only substance names and/or groups, but also the CAS numbers of the reported chemical substances. e.g., "Lead compound" Not acceptable Check point in MSDSplus (excerpt) Check point in AIS (excerpt) This part was optional in the former version, but has become subject to reporting. In Step 2, collect chemical substance content information for each component part (of the homogeneous material) from upstream manufacturers for each purchase. Once again, you should reconfirm that you are not using any substances specified in the prohibited substances level 1 as specified in the Panasonic Chemical Substances Management Rank Guidelines. Because substances that require reporting under GADSL and JIG have become mandatory from AIS version 4, when you request upstream manufacturers to submit chemical substance content information, you should urge them once again to also report voluntary declarable substances in MSDSplus and AIS, such as substances that require reporting under JIG, GADSL etc. In other words, you should ensure that all the chemical substances registered in the Input Support Tool are reported. Ask the upstream manufacturers to report all the composition if you are asked by Panasonic to disclose all composition. You should confirm that the reported information lists not only substance names and/or groups, but also the CAS numbers of the reported chemical substances. Avoid reporting items as, for example, "a lead compound." 12

MSDS, MSDSplus from Company P for resin pellets Main ingredient -Resin Declarable substance e.g., e.g., - No applicable substances MSDS, MSDSplus from Company Q for paint Declarable substance - Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate ( ) - Acetone ( ) Step 3 Step 3. Identify chemical compositions and reactions at your site. MSDS, MSDSplus from Company R for ink AIS from Company S for metal fittings If If the the detailed change Main ingredient of of composition Main or or chemical ingredient reaction is is unknown, consult - Resin, solvent - Pigment, solvent with with the the upstream manufacturer who who offered the the preparation data data and and determine the the substance information Declarable for for reporting in in AIS. AIS. --Solvent evaporation from from paint paint substance - Acetone ( ) --Thermosetting resin resin material (e.g., (e.g., epoxy epoxy resin) resin) Material - Free-cutting copper Declarable substance - Lead ( ) Molding No change in composition Painting Solvent evaporation Printing Solvent evaporation No change in composition Entry into AIS Material use: Base material Material -Resin(ABS) Declarable substance - No applicable substances Entry into AIS Material use: Painting Material - Resin (painted resin) Declarable substance - Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate ( ) Entry into AIS Material use: Printing Material - Resin (painted resin) Declarable substance - No applicable substances Entry into AIS Material use: Base material --Do Do not not report report acetone, since since it it evaporates from from the the front front panel panel and and does does not not remain remain in in the the product. --Recalculate the the contained rate rate of of reporting substance by by taking taking into into account the the evaporation of of acetone. Material - Free-cutting copper (copper alloy) Declarable substance - Lead ( ) In Step 3, you need to identify the change of composition or chemical reaction in the internal process. In the example shown, data on the purchased item is collected from Companies P, Q, R and S. Because the pellets, paint and ink count as 'preparations', MSDS and MSDSplus are obtained. On the other hand, the metal fittings is an article, so AIS is obtained. This is an example. The resin pellets purchased from Company P are molded, but thermoplastic resin does not experience any change in composition. The paint purchased from Company Q and the ink purchased from Company R contain acetone, but this evaporates during the painting or printing process and does not remain on the front panel, so it is deleted from the declarable substances. Taking into account the evaporation of acetone means that the contained rate of the reporting substance needs to be recalculated. The metal fittings from Company S is an article whose composition does not change. When preparing AIS information from data on preparations, caution is required for changes in composition such as evaporation of solvent or curing reaction of thermosetting resin curing. In cases where the content of composition/chemical reaction is unknown, you may consult with the upstream supplier who supplied the preparation data for determining the substance information to be included in the AIS. 13

Step 4 Use the concentration of acetone and DEHP contained in the paint to re-calculate the DEHP concentration to be entered in the AIS Step 4. Create a list for each product component part, and formulate a draft AIS. - Formulate a list of materials and chemical - Acetone: substances 20% for each Volatili- component 0% part. - DEHP: 2.4% zation?% 3% Formulate a list (draft) to compile and classify information collected from upstream manufacturers. There are no restrictions concerning the list DEHP (draft) format. For example, the AIS form (an Excel sheet concentration not included in the Input Support Tool) can be used x 100 Subtract acetone volatilization =3% DEHP after re-calculation *1 *2 *3 *Acetone is exempted, because it evaporates and does not reside in the front panel - For the material mass, do not enter a value multiplied by its quantity. *1 - Reconfirm conformity with the non-use of the prohibited substances level 1 specified in the Panasonic Chemical Substances Management Rank Guidelines. - Also provide the relevant material standards information (e.g., ISO, JIS). *2 - Any exemptions from the ELV/RoHS Directive must be identified. *3 - The denominator for a reported chemical substance content level should be the mass of the homogeneous material. - Content level must be provided by the wt% (ppm must not be used). - Enter a set value for the mean or the maximum (to four decimal places). In Step 4, you should create a list for each product component part, and formulate a draft AIS. Formulate a draft list to compile and classify information collected from upstream manufacturers. There are no restrictions concerning the list (draft) format. In this example, the ABS pellets do not include substances that require reporting. The paint contains phthalate ester and acetone, which require reporting, as indicated in MSDSplus. However, as I mentioned earlier, acetone in paint is not entered in the draft, since it evaporates and does not remain in the product. The content of the diethylhexylphthalate, DEHP changes after the acetone evaporates, and therefore requires re-calculation before data entry. For instance, if 20% of acetone and 2.4% of DEHP were contained in the paint in the raw material, divide DEHP concentration 2.4% by the remaining concentration after acetone volatilization. The re-calculated DEHP concentration will be 3%. Similarly, the acetone contained in the ink was indicated in MSDSplus, but is not entered in the new system because it is volatile. For the material mass, do not enter a value multiplied by its quantity. As for chemical substances, re-confirm conformity with the non-use of the prohibited substances level 1 specified in the Panasonic Chemical Substances Management Rank Guidelines. The denominator for a reported chemical substance content level should be the mass of the homogeneous material. The content level must be provided by the wt%: ppm must not be used. It is a fixed value by the mean or maximum value and entered to an accuracy of four decimal places. Any exemptions from the RoHS Directive, etc., must be identified. In this example, lead contained in the metal fittings is exempted from the RoHS Directive, and must therefore be stated in the Remarks column. Also provide the relevant material standards information such as ISO, JIS etc. 14

Step 5 - Obtain the tool - for Panasonic Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. Get the "AIS Input Support Tool" from the JAMP website or the GP-Web manual download page. The external list is a list of selective items such as material, declarable substances or exemptions that the tool references in order to operate. Double click to start the Input Support Tool, and enable macros. The way to enable macros vary depending on the version of the Excel software. 16

Step 5 - Attentions regarding the external list - Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. 2. Attentions regarding the external list - Status confirmation of the "external list" will run when the tool is started in an internetaccessible condition. - If the external list is not the latest version, make sure to download the latest external list and replace the old version. - The external list itself does not operate alone. (*The excel sheet in the external list will not open by double-clicking since the contents are not disclosed.) Start the tool in an internetaccessible condition Download the latest version and replace the old list Download Latest version The external list is the latest version if this message appears. Replace Update the external list if an error message stating that the version is not the latest appears. Old ver. External list If you start the tool in a condition where it is accessible to the internet, the tool will access the JAMP website and check the version of the list. If an error message stating that your list is an older version, download the latest list and replace the older list placed in the same folder as the Input Support Tool. Please note that the external list does not operate by itself. It cannot be opened as a normal Excel sheet since it is protected to prevent tampering or degradation. 17

Step 5 - Start the tool - Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. 3. Select the Edit menu - Menus for AIS editing and AIS integration can be selected in the [Explanation] sheet. 1) Edit AIS: Used for preparing new data or updating information 2) Integrate AIS: Used for preparing AIS for complex articles - Language settings is available in the [Functional Option] sheet. Panasonic business unit's item number of the requested products Field "Requester Item Number 1" (Enter in single-byte characters) [Attention] Even if multiple relevant item numbers are entered in "Requester Item Number 2 to 6,",they will not be registered as individual data. (They will only be registered as reference data on the GP-Web.) *Another way for entering is to upload to the GP-Web without entering requester information (in the form of self-registration), and then entering the "business unit code and business code item number" in the add delivery screen. When submitting to the Panasonic Group, please also enter [Requester Information] which is necessary for GP-Web upload, in addition to data required in the [General Information] sheet. There are three fields to enter. First, please enter the information on the Panasonic business unit that is the requester in the "company name" and "Panasonic business unit code" fields. Next, enter the Panasonic business unit item number for the product you are delivering in the "Requester Item Number 1" field. Please use single-byte characters. From AIS version 4, if the "company name" field is blank when entering requester information, the system will identify it as error in the data. Please make sure the company name is entered. Also, please note that even if you enter multiple relevant product numbers in "Requester Item Number 2 to 6" and upload your data to the GP-Web, the numbers will not be registered as independent data items in the GP-Web. These three fields do not need to be entered when uploading new requests from the investigation reply screen on the GP-Web. 20

Step 5 - Enter composition chart- Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. Note 1: Specify all homogenous Not required for original parts materials to manage each homogenous material as required under the RoHS Directive (3) Copy from draft (1) Copy from draft (2) Select and add Scroll to the right (4) Copy from draft (5) Separately select and add relevant codes for exemptions under RoHS etc. Scroll to the right Note 2: Separately select the corresponding exemptions under RoHS etc. from the pop-up menu. Copy the draft into the AIS Input Support Tool, and add any other necessary items. Copied items are indicated in blue, while items that must be added are indicated in red. Enter the required items 1 from 5 in order. There are two particular points to note. Note 1: List the homogeneous materials without omission for the purpose of management by homogeneous material required by the RoHS or ELV directive. Note 2: Exemption from the RoHS or ELV is explained on the next page. 21

Step 5 - Enter exemptions - Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. If substances subject to ELV/RoHS are contained: If a substance subject to ELV/RoHS is selected, the exemption entry screen will be displayed (pop-up menu). Select the appropriate code and enter. List of exempted items to be displayed can be filtered A flag will automatically show in the "Applicable" column When reconfirming/revising data for exemption, click "Exempted Application" to display the pop-up menu again. Check description of exemption When a substance subject to the ELV or RoHS is selected, an entry screen will appear as a pop-up menu. Select the appropriate exemption code and enter. Also, you can show the pop-up menu by clicking the "Exempted application" column, and check the description of the exemption or re-select and change the substance. 22

If substances subject to ELV/RoHS are contained: - For applications with no exemptions, select "No exemption" - When the content is below threshold, select "Below threshold" Step 5 - Enter exemptions - Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. (1) (2) (2) Regardless of language settings, (1) "No exemption" "No exemption" will show (2) "Below threshold "Below threshold" will show If the same exemption code is shown twice: An exemption code may have another exempted application with a different concentration and expiry date. Refer to the original text, check which criterion meets the exemption, and select. *The codes listed in the exemption list are the same, and can be communicated by entering the internal code in xml in order to distinguish the validity. (Example 1) (Example 2) Hg < 3.5 mg Until When 2012/12/31 the criterion " Hg < 2.5 mg" is met, select the code with the longer expiry date (Example 2) (1) Hg < 2.5 mg Until 2016/7/20 Select "No exemption" if there are no applications that fall under the exemptions. When the concentration is below the threshold, select "Below threshold." The valid/invalid buttons are used to narrow down the exemptions into those before or after the expiry date. Here, when you select a period and narrow down the results, the same code may show twice. This is because the concentration and expiry date for that substance is different depending on legislation. Please see the original text to check which criterion is met, and select the appropriate code. When selecting the exemption of 1(a), if the criterion of less than 2.5 mg is already met, select the code with the longer validity. 23

Step 5 - Enter Substance Use - Step 5. Copy the draft to AIS, and enter any other necessary items. If substances subject to REACH Annex XVII/ POPs Annex I are contained: If a substance of the above (with a specific CAS No.) is selected, the substance use entry screen will be displayed (pop-up menu). Select the appropriate code and enter. Check original text concerning substance use Also, if you select a substance subject to the REACH Annex 17 or POPs Annex 1, the substance use entry screen will show as a pop-up. Information for these substances is required since these substances become subject to regulation depending on the use. Select the appropriate substance use code and enter. If there are no corresponding uses, select "not applicable." If you cannot determine the product use, in other words, if you cannot make the accurate selection because the final product cannot be assumed, please select "No information to specify the intended use." 24

Step 6 - Prepare Calculation sheet - Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. Prepare (update) [Calculation] sheet: Execute calculation with the "Calculation" button in the [Composition List] or [General Information] sheet. [Composition List] Click to show the calculation results in the [Calculation] sheet. [General Information] [Calculation] In Step 6, formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. After completing data entry, press the Calculation button in the Composition List or General Information sheet. Calculation is executed and the results are reflected to the calculation sheet. Calculation with the General Information sheet is convenient since you can check the ratio of entry progress of the material mass relative to the subject article weight. 25

Step 6 - Prepare Calculation sheet - Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. Prepare (update) [Calculation] sheet: Of the composition information entered, Extract the information of substances with a check mark to SVHC, REACH Annex XVII, or RoHS. This sheet does not extract substances with a check mark to "voluntary declarable substances" but is included in XML export. [Calculation] Indicates weight calculation by material (Not reflected if classification code is not provided) Indicates content information of substances subject to legislation, per article Re-check the content information of substances subject to legislation. In the calculation sheet, of the weight calculation results per material or the composition information entered, substances with checks in the "regulation applicable" column are extracted and the information is provided. Indicated are concentration information on the relevant substance per article for REACH SVHC, and concentration information per homogenous material for the relevant substances subject to the REACH Regulation or RoHS Directive. 26

Step 6 - Prepare calculation sheet - Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. After preparing the Calculation sheet, return to the [General Information] sheet and make sure that the "Total Amounts of Material" is 100%. If this part does not reach 100%, check for incomplete entry of materials or errors in the quantity. [Composition List] [General Information] Make sure that the "Total Amounts of Material" is 100% Results of material mass x quantity is indicated After formulating the calculation sheet, return to the General Information sheet, and make sure that the total of "Total Amount of Material" is 100%. The total is not required to be exactly 100%, but if the value is less than 100%, you should check for omissions in the data for materials and/or numbers. Panasonic's GP-Web identifies "an error" at the time of upload when the total amounts of material is not within the range of plus or minus 5% of the article mass. 27

Step 6 - Error Check - Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. Check for errors before exporting the XML. A completion message will appear if no errors are found Click to check for errors in the data input If no errors are found: [report] If errors are found: If error is found (e.g. incomplete entry), description of the error will be displayed. Before executing the "Export XML", click "Error Check" to find any missing entries or other errors. If any errors are found, a report sheet with the description of the errors will be displayed. Check the content and correct the errors to complete. 28

Step 6 -XMLExport- Step 6. Formulate a calculation sheet, and export the XML. Export the data in XML format for data transmission. Click "Export XML" XML If errors are found: When errors are found in the data contents, an error message will appear by clicking "XML Export." Select "No" and correct the errors. Next, click "Export XML" and prepare an XML file. An error check will also run during this time, and an error message will appear if any errors are found. 29

Step 7 (For Submissions to the Panasonic Group only) for Panasonic Step 7. Submit the data to the Panasonic Group (Upload the AIS to the GP-Web). GP-Web: Uploading of an XML file of AIS GP-Web Survey reply data Purchases Level Components Material Chemical substance Supplier Upload XML AIS The final step, in Step 7, upload the AIS to the GP-Web to submit the AIS to the Panasonic Group. For details, please see the GP-Web section in the e-learning. 30

Supplement: Using an existing XML file -Check version- -Before reading in an existing XML file, please confirm that it was formulated using the latest versions of the Materials List and the Substances List. - If the versions are obsolete, your company should request the reporting manufacturer to re-submit the data in the latest versions. [Explanation] [General Information] If an older version is indicated: The contents of the XML file must be checked before use. (The list needs to be updated based on the latest information on declarable materials and substances.) Before reading in an existing XML file, you should confirm that it was formulated using the latest versions of the "Material List" and the "Substance List. When updating information, check the JAMP declarable substance list or instruction manual for updates and revisions, and see whether those updates affect the composition disclosure of your products. When updating an AIS for a product manufactured by your company, please make sure that all substances subject to reporting are included. When updating an AIS for a purchased product, check with the manufacturer for updates according to the latest version or request resubmission as necessary. 31

Supplement: Using an existing XML file - Update material information - - When using an existing XML file, click "Update Substance Info" and update the list to the latest version. - Add new declarable substances, information that need to be revised, etc., and complete. Click "Update Substance Info" * Due to the revisions in the JAMP declarable substances, relevance to declarable substances will change even if the substance is the same. (Substances that are not included in the latest list can be set as voluntary declarable substances or deleted; decide on your side and work accordingly.) * Substances that are not listed in the original MSDSplus or AIS cannot be updated in the new list. Click "Update substance info" to update substance information. After the update, the CAS numbers of the substances that are not subject to legislation in the latest substance list are highlighted in yellow. Please set that substance as a voluntary declarable substance or delete the substance. If neither is done, it will be identified as an error. To issue an AIS with the latest information based on an existing AIS, first update the substance information and newly add the declarable substances. Substances that are not included in the original MSDSplus or AIS cannot be updated with a new list. Therefore, please note that additional entry is necessary for substances that have become subject to new laws and regulations, after checking the JAMP declarable substance instruction manual. 32

[ JAMP Format ] 3. AIS Preparation for Complex Articles Next, I will explain about preparing AIS for complex articles. 33

Formulation of AIS for Complex Articles Step 1: Start the integration tool with the AIS Input Support Tool [Explanation] [Integration] Click to display AIS integration sheet AIS Integration A function that allows simply combining multiple AIS (XML files) collected from upstream manufacturers Original parts AIS (XML) 1 Original parts AIS (XML) 2 Original parts AIS 1 + Original parts AIS 2 Simple combination Next, I will explain about preparing AIS for complex articles. A function that allows simply combining multiple AIS (in XML files) collected from upstream manufacturers to prepare an integrated AIS is available in the AIS integration menu. This replaces the existing AIS integration/simplification tools. Start the AIS Input Support Tool, and select "AIS Integration." The AIS Integration sheet will be displayed. 34

Formulation of AIS for Complex Articles Step 2: Select the XML files for integration Click the "Add" button to show the window to select the files for integration. Select the files for integration and open the files. Click "Add" Select the files for integration and open After file selection The selected files are added. Click the "Add" button in the Integration sheet to show the window to select the files. Select the files for integration. Select more than one file and click "Add" to add multiple files at once. 35

[Integration] Formulation of AIS for Complex Articles Step 2: Select the XML files for integration Select the fields to change the items displayed at the right side of the sheet. Switch Display Select and switch display Scroll to the right Select the fields in "Switch Display" to change the items displayed at the right side of the sheet. You can check the contents of the General Information sheet of each AIS. 36

Formulation of AIS for Complex Articles Step 3: Integration and editing AIS Enter the quantity/amount and execute integration. Integration results will be displayed as the sheet for editing AIS when integration is complete. Click "Integrate" Edit the AIS and export XML after integration. When the files have been added, enter the quantity and used amount for each AIS. After entering the figures click "Integrate" and execute integration. The AIS editing screen will be displayed when the integration is complete. Proceed with editing in the same way as normal AIS. 37

Formulation of AIS for Complex Articles Step 3: Integration and editing AIS - Even if an AIS prepared with an old list is contained, the information in the substance list will not be updated at the time of integration completion. - After the integration is complete, add the substances corresponding to the latest declarable substance list and update the information. - The AIS editing sheet will be displayed after integration. The integration menu can be shown by returning to the [Explanation] sheet and clicking [AIS integration]. *The file cannot be displayed once it has been exported as XML. Even if an AIS prepared with an old list is contained, the information in the substance list will not be updated at the time of integration completion. When the integration is complete, add the substances corresponding to the latest declarable substance list and update the information in the same way as editing AIS. Chemical substances that are not listed in the original AIS cannot be determined whether they are subject to the reporting criteria. If you are using an AIS based on an older version of the list, check with the supplier whether there are any substances that need to be added in accordance with the new substance list. If additions or revisions are required, obtain the latest AIS before integration. 38

[ JAMP Format ] 4. Attention when Preparing AIS 39

Points to note in Reporting to Panasonic Group by AIS format - In the formulation of AIS, please double-check the points of note that were already explained in earlier sides. - If a Panasonic device department, etc., requires the disclosure of all substances, please flag "1" in the relevant columns for voluntary declarable substances. (It is not necessary to flag "1" for inputting the Substances in the scope of management by JAMP.) Finally, I will explain some points to note when preparing AIS. In the formulation of AISs, you should double-check the points to note that I explained using multiple slides. If a Panasonic device department, etc., requests the disclosure of all substances, you should indicate the flag "1" in the relevant columns for the voluntary declarable substances. It is not necessary to flag "1" for inputting the Substances in the scope of management by JAMP. 40

Example of JAMP-SN Case of the substances without the CAS number JAMP-SN Handling of substances without a CAS number A JAMP-SN (Substance Number) is assigned to some substances among the JAMP declarable substances: specifically, "substances unidentified by a CAS number" and "substances that are not broken down by individual CAS numbers (substances corresponding to a sub-group)" A unique code (secret substance code) is used for operation for responses in "standard D" to the Panasonic Group. *See Operation Manual (GP-Web pages) JAMP-SN0001 JAMP-SN0002 JAMP-SN0007 JAMP-SN0055 EC No NAME (methylenebis(4,1-phenylenazo(1-(3-(dimethylamino)propyl)-1,2-dihydro-6-hydroxy-4- methyl-2-oxopyridine-5,3-diyl)))-1,1'-dipyridinium dichloride dihydrochloride 2-[2-hydroxy-3-(2-chlorophenyl)carbamoyl-1-naphthylazo]-7-[2-hydroxy-3-(3- methylphenyl)carbamoyl-1-naphthylazo]fluoren-9-one Aluminiosilicate, Refractory Ceramic Fibres(with conditions of SVHC) Zirconia Aluminosilicate,Refractory Ceramic Fibres(with conditions of SVHC) Case of the substances that corresponds to the restriction material group JAMP-SN JAMP-SN0010 JAMP-SN0011 JAMP-SN0023 JAMP-SN0024 EC No NAME Arsenic compounds [group] Azodyes which, by reductive cleavage of one or more azo groups, may release one or more of the specific aromatic amines [group] lead compounds [group] Mercury compounds [group] When appropriate to use JAMP-SN (1) When the substance in question conforms to the declarable substance criteria, but the corresponding substance is not included in the search list. (2) When the obtained information is a substance group level, and it is not possible to report the substance by the listed substance name. (3) When the substance has been confirmed to exist but it cannot be identified. (4) When a preparation manufacturer, etc. needs to hide the information at the detailed substance name level as an item that is confidential to the company. When JAMP-SN cannot be used (1) When the substance corresponds to an SVHC under the REACH regulations (to prevent inability to identify a substance) (2) Chemical substance for which inclusion is regulated or use is controlled by chemical substance name (CAS No.) JAMP assigns a JAMP-SN (Substance Number) to some substances among the JAMP declarable substances: specifically, "substances unidentified by a CAS number" and "substances that are not broken down by individual CAS numbers (substances corresponding to a sub-group)." Substances with no assigned CAS numbers that have now been given new JAMP substance numbers include the two types of fire-resistant ceramic fiber, which is the SVHC in the second disclosure. The substances included in the restricted substances group are the arsenide compound group and the azo dye and pigment group that form the specified amines. The Input Support Tool allows searching with the JAMP substance number instead of the CAS number. These substances are shown in JAMP Declarable Substance Reference List posted on the JAMP web pages for your confirmation and use. 41

Cautions regarding Revision of JAMP Declarable Substance -Edit AIS- - Following revision of JAMP declarable substances, the originally declared substance is newly specified as a controlled substance or a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) under the REACH regulations, thereby causing a change in the applicable information of the control-applicable regulations. - When reading the MSDSplus or AIS that were produced by referring to the former control-applicable substance list, update the contents according to the latest list. Click "Update Substance Info" - When MSDSplus or AIS need to be issued with the latest information based on the loaded information of MSDSplus or AIS, renew the information by selecting "Yes" and complete the report by adding the substance to be declared. * A substance not included in the old MSDSplus or AIS cannot be updated with the new list. When the JAMP declarable substances are revised, the originally declared substance is newly specified as a controlled substance or a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) under the REACH regulations, thereby causing a change in the applicable information of the control-applicable regulations. Make sure to check that the list is the latest version each time you start the Input support tool. When reading the MSDSplus or AIS that were produced by referring to the former declarable substance list, update the contents according to the latest list. After the update, the CAS numbers of the substances that are not subject to legislation in the latest substance list are highlighted in yellow. Please set that substance as a voluntary declarable substance or delete the substance. If neither is done, it will be identified as an error. When MSDSplus or AIS need to be issued with the latest information based on the loaded information of MSDSplus or AIS, renew the information by selecting "Yes" and complete the report by adding the substance to be declared. Substances not included in the old MSDSplus or AIS cannot be updated. Substances which have newly become restricted need to be added by confirming the description in the JAMP declarable substance guideline or a reference list. 42
