2 General Information Glossary CPM: RON/ROS: Targeting/controlled: Price for visual contacts Run over Network / Run over Site User (age, country, sex, interests) Specific animal data (age, breed, favourite food) Delivery In order to start your campaign with us on time, please send your banner data to us 3 working days in advance (gif/jpeg) or 5 working days (swf/html). Excluded from this are specialized solutions which require programming work to be carried out (depending on the specific job order) and therefore require a longer deadline starting from 5 working days. The delivery takes place via advertise@grinzoo.com The sent to deliver the advertising means should contain the following information: Customer and campaign names Booking period (or exact definition and assignment of the time period in the case of time-period subjects or subject rotations) Advertising form (e.g. CAD, SBAR, BSB, Billboard, etc.) Links of the respective banners (e.g. Billboard target link: URL ) Contact person for follow-up questions and enquiries
3 General Information Technical Controls When delivered, the advertising means are subjected to controls to ensure that they correspond with the specifications. However problems can possibly arise after the campaign has been started. grinzoo GmbH reserves the right to partially or completely remove advertising means if: Massive user complaints arise after the campaign has been started it subsequently becomes apparent that the advertising means interferes with the performance of the website or with the user s (users ) computer an external advertising means has been subsequently changed without prior discussion and does not correspond with the specifications advertising means are used that mislead the user(s) In the event of non-compliance with the specifications or if the booked advertising means are incorrect or are not delivered on time, this can result in the campaign being started with delay/the campaign being stopped/not being started at all. The fulfillment of the campaign could be endangered in certain circumstances and may possibly need to be expanded (targeting and/or running time). In the event of a delayed start due to reasons mentioned above and if no expansion is agreed to, grinzoo reserves the right to invoice the price for the entire campaign.

9 Technical Information General information about HTML5 advertising means HTML5 display advertising means consist of several elements. These include HTML files, CSS, libraries (Javascript, JQuery, etc.), images and videos. The formats and sizes are based on the IAB standards and the sizes specified by grinzoo. During creation special attention should be paid on keeping the individual elements as small as possible. This should entail the common compilation methods of the code and code optimization being used in a file. Subfolder structures should be avoided. The possibility to count clicks must be available as up to now in the form of Clicktag. In HTML5 advertising means, scripts that allow the manipulation of websites may only be delivered following consultation with grinzoo or after grinzoo has given its explicit approval. The animations must remain light on CPU load as is the case with Flash, a border is required in the case of bright subjects. IAB HTML5 Guidelines / Standards
10 Technical Information Browser Compatibility, Back-Up Image HTML5 All advertising means should first be tested on all common browsers before sending them to grinzoo (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.). If an advertising mean cannot be played correctly by a particular browser (library or features are not supported for example), a fall-back mean JPG or GIF is nevertheless required in order to guarantee a comprehensive play. Graphics need to be optimized in accordance with the size of the files (please always pay attention to the maximum size of the respective advertising mean!). The use of PNG crusher and the use of scalable vector graphics is recommended. Videos in HTML5 advertising means are integrated using the <video></video> tag. Preview images (poster) need to be added to ads with videos, the video starts as soon as it has loaded or in the case of user interaction on mobile devices. The video needs to be optimized in terms of quality and file size. We prefer the video to be streamed in a suitable server environment. The video is to be provided in H264/MP4.
11 Technical Information Sound, streaming/redirects & loading sizes Sound Sounds may not loop The volume of the advertising means must be appropriate The advertising means sound must be set to off as standard. The user must start the sound by either pressing the on button or by means of the MouseOver-Event. The sound can be stopped again by means of a further click or MouseOver-Event. The maximum total size (see the respective advertising means) including the sound must be adhered to. Streaming/Redirects Streamings and redirects are only allowed by 3rd party providers common to the market Redirect deliveries may only be delivered when secured (HTTPS) Redirect deliveries may not contain any separate Java script or VPAID trackings, only imagepixel are allowed Loading Sizes Desktop: the entire size of the advertising means when displayed may not be larger than 250 KB and in the case of Instream, not larger than 5 MB Mobile: the entire size of the advertising means when displayed may not be larger than 40 KB and in the case of Instream, not larger than 3 MB Please remember: the larger the size of the advertising means, the longer loading will take and the lower the visibility
