5 About Daniel Afrahim Daniel started working as a freelance web/graphic designer in 2002 for different design firms, such as GraphicIQ, Rise Agency and Blue Fountain Media. In 2004 he founded Design by Daniel where he started to design extensive number of award-winning web sites and print designs for his clients. Currently he is continuing his studies at New York Institute of Technology as well as working for various clients, such as Bramson ORT College, TSGI, Appraise All America and Dupont East Hills. 6 Web Design Title: Bramson ORT College Website / BramsonORT.edu Brief: Redesign and develop new website for Bramson ORT College Role: Web Design / Graphic Design / Flash Design / SEO Bramson ORT College is a New York City undergraduate college with two campuses. Since its establishment in 1942, Bramson ORT has provide quality technical postsecondary education. The goal here was to established school s online identity based on the branding strategies created by GraphicIQ. To please school s younger students, new vibrant color scheme was established and used all over the website and print materials. Easy navigation menu and simple structure was developed to make the website more user friendly for current and potential students. Also latest web technologies such as AJAX, ASP.NET and XML were used to make the website more functional. 2

8 Title: Appraise All America Website / AppraiseAllAmerica.com Brief: Design and develop new website and identity Role: Web Design / Graphic Design / SEO Appraise All America, Inc. is a New York based full-service commercial & residential appraisal company with a team of experienced Appraisers since They provide professional real estate appraisals for a variety of clients including lenders, attorneys, homeowners, and for any purpose in which a professional real estate appraiser is required. Also know as AAA the new logo is simply three A s in the shape of a star, refer to the word America. The colors and structure of the website is supposed to please corporate clients as well as small clients. 4

10 Title: Dupont East Hills / EastHillsNewHomes.com Brief: Design and develop new website and identity Role: Web Design / Graphic Design / Photography / SEO For over twenty-five years, Dupont East Hills has constructed attractive well-appointed homes all over Long Island s Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Working in few new projects in East Hills, company launched a new website to help sell it s under construction homes. The structure and navigation of the website focused completely on the potential buyers, like using small slide show of all the new homes right on the home page with a calming music. On the other hand website s color scheme and background images emphasized that this is a small, professional and friendly family-run businesses that cares about the environment and East Hills neighborhood. 6

TSGI use the latest leading edge technology and strategic consulting services to provide protection for its clients. All being said company s new website and identity has to match its goals and perspective. The new logo, color scheme, stock photos and structure of the website also help to achieve this goal. 8

The goal was to present new and energy efficient luxury homes in a way which shows that Dupont East Hills is a family-run business that cares about environment and East Hills neighborhood. The challenge was to be entirely different than other competitor s ads in the same newspaper. 13

Also by using good typography, logo has a balance which makes it even more stylish. Solar Energy Systems designs and develops power projects fueled by the sun s clean, abundant, and renewable energy.
