The training content provided is intended to help explain CHFA s programs, but should not be relied upon as an alternative to the CHFA Seller s Guide. 3 compatibility message If you receive this message, simply follow the steps above to remove it: Click on Tools in your navigation bar, then Compatibility View settings ; Remove chfainfo.com and unclick Display intranet sites in Compatibility View. Then click close. 3

4 new look User name and password remain unchanged. You may use your current user name and password to access HomeConnection. If you forget your user name or password, click on the relevant button(s) to have them sent to you or reset. 4

5 landing page The landing page will display your pipeline view. 5

6 search for loans Search by borrowers name or social security number, or CHFA loan number, in the search box. Filter the loans you would like to see by selecting a filter to the right of the search bar. Expand the number of loans on the page by selecting the number of entries displayed. Click on a column heading to change the sorting of loans by ascending or descending order. 6

7 loan information Click on the + icon to see loan details. Once clicked the + icon will become a - icon and can be clicked to collapse the loan detail. 7

8 icons for additional navigation This icon is used for the document delivery upload option. This icon is used for making changes to the loan; i.e. loan amount, purchase price, property address. This icon is used to find CHFA documents. This icon is used to cancel a reservation. 8

9 reservations Click reservation in the header bar to reserve a loan, which will start the reservation wizard. 9

10 choosing the product There are filters on the left side of the page that you may utilize to aid your product search. Click on the select button to the right of the product you are choosing; the selection will show at the top of the screen. Click Next at the top or bottom of the page after you have made your selection to continue. 10

11 loan information In the loan screens, input the loan amount, purchase price, estimated date of closing and underwriting information. After completing, click on the Next button. 11

12 property information In this section input property information, and then click the Next button to continue. 12

13 borrower information Next, input information regarding the borrowers. If there is a co-borrower, click on the + button in the co-borrowers section to add co-borrower information. After completing this section, click Next. 13

14 lender information The last step in the reservation wizard is to enter Lender information. After completing this section, click on Submit or Submit Reservation. If you are listed in more than one branch, a box will be displayed that will prompt you for the branch under which the loan is being originated. 14

15 reservation complete After clicking the submit button, you will receive a reservation complete message. You will also receive an with your reservation confirmation letter. To exit this message, click Return to Pipeline or Start New Reservation. 15

16 missing or incorrect information During the reservation process, if there is any required information missing or the information is incorrect for the program type, a validation error message will show in red at the top of the page explaining the corrections that are needed. Once the information is corrected, you will be able to move forward. 16

17 continue reservation If your screen times out while making a reservation or you had to exit before completing the reservation, you may return to HomeConnection and continue with the reservation. See the message at the top of the page while in the reservation wizard to complete or start a new reservation. 17

18 reports The reports page will offer several options for reviewing reports related to your CHFA pipeline. To open the reports page click on reports in the header bar. 18

19 other options If you ever need to change your password, you can click on change password in the header bar and follow the prompts to make the change. If you need to review the interest rates for CHFA, simply click rates at the top of the page and a new browser page will open to display the CHFA interest rates page. If you are looking for any CHFA forms, click on links & forms and a new browser will open to the forms and flyers page on CHFA s website. If you would like to go to the CHFA website for other information, click on chfainfo.com and a new browser will open to display the CHFA website. 19

20 exiting homeconnection To exit the HomeConnection site, simply click logout in the header bar. 20
