It was built at the request and under the supervisin f ne f the best SEO firms in the cuntry and it is abslutely laded with the SEO enhancing features yu need t start bringing in mre and mre traffic! Directry Features Create as many directries as yu wish. Yu can have ne fr lawyers, fr sneaker stres, fr car dealerships, etc. Whatever and hwever many yu want. Each directry will have it's wn unique URL, chsen by yu. Each directry can have an infinite number f listings. Each directry can be enabled/disabled fr specific stres. Each directry is individually cnfigurable. Yu can have cmpletely different cnfig ptins fr each directry. Each directry has it's wn design ptins just as a CMS page des. Fr thse that cde their wn websites, each directry has a general XML handle and a specific XML handle fr lcal.xml s that if a specific listing needs t be cnfigured differently, it's very easy t d s. Each directry can have up t 2,000,000 characters f text t display. Yu can chse t display special r preferred listings in a "Featured Listing" in a blck in either the right r left clumn. Yu can exprt yur full directry t a CSV fr backup / reimprt purpses. Yu can chse whether r nt t allw users t "Claim This Prfile". Yu can chse whether r nt t allw users t create a new prfile. If yu chse t allw users t "Create/Claim/Update" prfiles, the new r updated listing data will g int a queue fr yu t review and apprve befre setting the new listing r changes live. When searching using the "search by name" bx, autcmplete is implemented shwing a menu f matching listings. Listing Features Listings will be displayed in a list in the same manner that prducts are. They can be clicked n t view a listing's individual prfile page. Listings can display a business' lg, cntact inf, scial netwrking pages, and website url. In the list, yu can display 255 characters f text abut a listing. On the listing's prfile page, yu can display up t 2,000,000 characters f text. Directry Mapping & Gecding Built in Ggle Map shwing pins fr each listing currently n the page. Gespatial Search! On the directry is a lcatin search bx. When yu enter terms and search by lcatin, the extensin cmmunicates with Ggle and Bing Maps t get latitude and lngitude fr the lcatin yu are searching. Yu will then be presented with listings in distance rder frm the lcatin yu searched. Yu can type any terms just as yu wuld n ggle, smething as simple as Munt Rushmre r r 123 Main St Anytwn, TX. Listings are shwn in distance rder frm the user's lcatin. The extensin takes the user's IP address t get their general lcatin and determine the rder in which t shw listings. Yu can gecde(that is, get the latitude and lngitude) fr each listing when imprting a CSV with listings, manually creating a listing, r by checking bxes in the admin grid. The extensin makes use f FREE versins f bth Ggle Maps and Bing Maps gecding services t btain the latitude and lngitude f yur listings anywhere in the wrld. (requires yu t btain free API keys, links t get the keys are included). Yu can chse t display distances in either miles r kilmeters. The directry was designed t make sure that yu are nt creating and using duplicate cntent. This is made pssible thrugh a special tagging system we created that can be seen in the examples belw. On the clickable links fr the lcatin filters, yu can add yur wn dynamic link titles in this frmat: View All Lawyers in [[filter_ptin]] Fr pages filtered by State, yu can either use a dynamic template as shwn abve r yu can create yur wn fully unique text fr each state in yur directry. Fr the lcatin filters, yu can chse, fr example, hw many cities t present fr yur users t filter by. If a state has 500 cities, yu may nly want t display the names f 50 cities. Staying with the example f filtering listings by city, if yu were t limit the number f city filters t shw, the 50 cities appearing mst in yur directry wuld be shwn in rder t make sure yu are shwing the mst useful city filters. Each listing prfile page can have dynamic meta keywrds. Upn imprting a CSV r manually creating a listing, the business' name will be cnverted int a url. Yu can select an ptin t append the lcatin inf t the URL, which can be especially helpful if yu are trying t rank fr a certain lcatin and it als helps yu avid creating duplicate URLs fr businesses that have the same name. Fr example, if there was a business named "Shawn's Sneaker Shp", yu culd chse t have the URL autmatically created as "shawnssneaker-shp"(withut lcatin inf) r "shawns-sneaker-shp-chicagil"(with lcatin inf). Of curse, yu can als manually create the URLs but its much mre efficient t let the extensin d it fr yu. When URLs are autmatically created fr yu, the 's (apstrphe "s") is handled prperly fr yu. As in the example abve, "Shawn's Sneaker Shp" wuld becme "shawns-sneaker-shp". Ntice hw the apstrphe is treated. Links & Backlinks There are NO OUTBOUND LINKS in this directry s yu dn't lse any f yur wn link juice! Read n... When yu add links t a listing that lead t a business' website r scial netwrking pages, yes, yu will be taken t the apprpriate destinatin. What users and search engines never knw is this: any links that pint t urls utside f the directry first have a rel="nfllw" set n them. Hwever, the link pints t anther page n yur website that has the rbts set t NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW. Frm this nindex, nfllw page, yu are then redirected t the intended URL destinatin. This all takes place behind the scenes and yur users never knw. Handling utbund links in this manner enables yu t make sure that Ggle/Yah/Bing never see any utbund links frm yur site while User Guide Page 7

Anytime smene creates r claims a listing in yur directry, they will be given the ptin t becme a "Featured Listing" fr free. Hwever, there is a catch! They cannt becme "Featured", which means displaying their listing in the special bx t the right, displaying their business lg, and displaying links t their scial netwrking pages withut prviding yu with a backlink. That's right, the price t becme a "Featured Listing" is a mimimum f 1 backlink t yur site frm their site! Ggle Rich Snippets Each page f the directry and the listing prfile pages are equipped with Ggle Rich Snippets cde. Yu can chse whether r nt t enable Ggle Rich Snippets fr the directry list itself and als fr the listing prfile pages. Yu can chse what type f rich snippet schema t use. Fr example: User Guide Page 8

9 Business Directry CmmerceExtensins Extensin Installatin 1. Disable yur Cache and lg ut frm Magent Admin panel if yu are lgged in 2. Unpack the cntents f the zip file purchased and VIA ftp and uplad the app flder t yur magent install rt. The Cre mdule must be installed first. Bth the Cre mdule and Business Directry mdule are included in the zip file. 3. Lg int Magent Admin Panel. 4. Refresh yur cache if necessary. 5. G t System > Cnfiguratin > Business Directry, where the cnfig ptins reside. 6. In the first panel, titled Search API, fllw the links t btain yur API keys. They are free at the time f writing this instructin set and are necessary fr the directry t prperly utilize the lcatin-based features. 7. Yu may need t refresh yur cache after setting up yur cnfig ptins. 8. G t CMS > Business Directries > Active Directries and start setting up yur first directry. 9. If yu want t uplad yur listings, a sample CSV is included but yu can als create ne listing manually and then click the Exprt CSV buttn that resides abve the listing grid. 10 Business Directry CmmerceExtensins Trubleshting I am attempting t uplad a large CSV full f listings t the directry, but I keep getting redirected t the dashbard. What shuld I d? This is happening because pst_max_size and/r uplad_max_size settings n yur server need t be adjusted t fit yur csv, r yu need t break yur csv int multiple files. These settings are lcated in yur htaccess r php.ini file, depending n yur server's setup. Supprt CmmerceExtensins ffers FREE 1hr f supprt and 1 year f updates fr all extensins.
