3 Introduction 1 1 Introduction NOTE!!! THIS DOCUMENT, IS FOR TEST ONLY THE NEW VERSION, THE INFORMATION HERE CHOULD CHANGE WITHOUT NOTIFICATION, THIS MANUAL SHOULD BE IGNORED WHEN THE TEST PERIOD ENDS. The sequence of steps in this document are described in a simple and detailed way, for you as a user, can make use of this information and take advantage to make your job easier. You will be guided through concise explanations accompanied by demonstrative graphics application usage. How to downloading files detailed in this instructional document. Please read this manual before you start downloading the files needed for the subsequent process of installing and configuring SQL Millennium Aduanas; if you have questions please contact us via at tickets_aduanas@bettaglobalsystems.com. This manual is only for purposes of consultation, and the examples discussed here may differ from real situation; it's just a base document to help user of Millennium Aduanas SQL.

4 2 2 Actualization The following points are to check for any patch available. 2.1 Launching the Setup Identify the Setup icon of Millennium Aduanas and do double-click on it. 2.2 Downloading patches NOTE:THE AMOUNT OF DOWNLOADING PATCHES MAY VARY ACCORDING TO THE VERSION OF MA HAVE INSTALLED AT THIS TIME; It could BE 0.1, 2, 3 or N PATCHES FOR INSTALL. FOR EXAMPLE OF THIS MANUAL WILL 4 PENDING PATCHES.. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MENTION THE NAMES OF THE PATCHES VARY ACCORDING TO THE SYSTEM VERSION. After opening the Setup, we'll go to the Updates tab Actualización.

5 Actualization 3 Once we do a click on Actualización, it will open our Browser automatically and it will show us a page with all patches listed and available for the installed version that we have in the setup screen.

6 4 NOTE: BETTA GLOBAL SYSTEMS PAGE NOW IS DYNAMIC AND IS REQUIRED LAST UPDATE FOR THE BROWSER IN ORDER TO DISPLAY THE INFORMATION CORRECTLY; IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE PATCHES MAY BE THE BROWSER OUTDATED. In this particular case, we can identify 4 patches available for this version (E.g.) The names of the patches show the version of the configurator must be installed and the new version which will be updated; example: Actualizador de a To install this patch you should have the Version to be updated to We can identify our version by seeing the tittle of the Setup windows.

7 Actualization 5 Tenemos instalada la versión To date our application to the latest version requires updating of to ; This will require the 4 patches available to download on the page. To download the patches need to click on each of the links for downloading. In the bottom of the browser will display the download. It is important to identify the folder where the patches will be downloaded as later proceed to install. If you use google chrome we can identify the folder, click on the button with the down arrow and then click Show in folder

8 6 Up to this point we have only downloaded the patch (they are not installed, yet). Before starting the installation of the patches is necessary to stop the service. 2.3 Stopping M.A. Service If there were patches available for installation, you must stop the Millennium Aduanas Service before installing the patches; To do this we will click in the setup screen on the Servidor tab.

9 Actualization Here we will place the Stop Service button do a click on. This process could take several minutes. At the end will change the legend label to Stopped. 7

10 8 Can be that the Start Service button also remains disabled for few minutes. 2.4 Patches installation Before installing each patch is necessary for the Millennium Aduanas Setup is closed. To close the setup screen give a click on Salir button. Then we will open the folder where the patches are downloaded. It is Extremely important to install them in the order in which the page displayed them:

11 Actualization 9 First , Second el , Third el and finally If you do not install the patches in that order, the installer will give the following error: This error means that the patch was not installed in the correct order. Now we will double click on the oldest patch; In this case is the file patch_millennium_aduanas_ _to_

12 10 An installation screen will be opened, just press Siguiente. The installation of the patch begins :

13 Actualization After installation completes, the setup screen will be opened automatically in Empresas tab. 11

14 12 If there were more patches without installation (in the example in this manual are still 3 pending) we have to close the setup screen again and repeat the steps in this chapter for each remaining patch (The first step would be to close the setup of Millennium Aduanas and do double click on the next patch.) If you already have installed all patches, continue with the next chapter. 2.5 Updating companies After you install all the patches, is necessary to update the Companies, under the tab Empresas. To update the companies is required to open Millennium Aduanas Setup and select Empresas tab. It is important to check that the version shown in the tittle of the setup screen change to the last patch version installed.

15 Actualization 13 The next step to do is update our companies to the last version too. (if the companies are outdated we will not able to start the service neither to open Millennium Aduanas from clients); In the next picture we have setup screen and a company with different versions: To update the companies just press Actualizar button that is on the right-down side of the windows: Pressing Actualizar option will start the process:

16 14 When the process ends, it is possible that show us an incidences window; we will ignore it clicking on Cerrar, also can appear a windows asking to create new tables:

17 Actualization 15 Click on Crear Tablas After completing the update to the companies, we will see that the companies will change the version to the one that the setup screen says: NOTE:IF THE SETUP SCREEN AND COMPANIES DO NOT MATCH THE VERSIONS, WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO START THE SERVICE.

18 Starting M.A. Service Once we install the patches and update the companies we must restart the service. To do this, we have to go to Servidor tab that is in the setup screen. to start the service, do a click on Iniciar Servicio. Once started you would be able to see Corriendo, on the status box.

19 Actualization Exiting from setup Is mandatory to comply with 100% of the steps explained in this manual If you have any trouble or need to ask any question please contact us: if don't just press Salir to exit from setup.
