1 MICROMD EMR VERSION The following fixes and/or features have been added to MicroMD EMR Version for this maintenance release: Log ID 16912: Increased speed when opening immunizations from a patient s chart. Log ID 17262: Charts merge correctly without Select Errors. Log ID 17438: Health Maintenance windows are limited to twenty (20) columns in a screening and prevention, and notifies the user if there is a repeat or if the maximum has been reached. Log ID 17499: When editing a Cliniguide, adding a new Symptom for Chief Complaint Related History it will place it appropriately under Chief Complaint Related History instead of defaulting to Chief Complaint. Log ID 17506: Bill Builder is updated correctly when a provider needing a co-signature changes the encounter header. Log ID 17509: A prescription processes normally even if there is a blank character space at the end of an SPI in EMR Manager. The blank will be stripped from the process. Log ID 17512: When recording the pain severity level under Vital Signs, even a pain severity of 0 will be visible if entered. Log ID 17516: A List of Encounters for a patient will now display correctly when accessed through the Patient Monitor. Log ID 17524: Report for Percentage of Diabetics having HbA1c measured in given time period will display correct results. Log ID 17542: Users with Emergency Access to a patient chart will be able to perform all User Role functions once they have accessed the chart via Emergency Access window. Log ID 17548: In DMS, if there are multiple documents in a folder, all of them can be selected to batch, print or publish as one job. Log ID 17550: Plan items in an encounter text view will display the date performed/encounter date instead of the recorded on date. Log ID 17551: When a letter template is used, the fonts established in the template will be used for the mail merge fields without reverting to a default font. Log ID 17553: When a lab account number is removed from the EMR Manager and a new lab account number is entered the next time that a lab order is generated the user will need to select the new account number then it will default to the new one from that point on. Previously the old account number remained the default. Log ID 17556: Patient with deactivated screening and prevention will now be excluded from patient recall list. Log ID 17557: Issue with Measure 5 to include only items published within the reporting period. Log ID 17559: When in an encounter, any assessments from a template that still have a question mark next to them will be excluded from the associated diagnosis list when adding a lab order within the encounter. 1

2 Log ID 17560: Insurance plan Id now prints on encounter reports and the chart report. The Chart Report and the Encounter Report will now have an option that will allow the Insurance plan and policy number to print on the footer of each page. Log ID 17563: Patient Care Plans print correctly without errors. Log ID 17568: Single items in the batch basket are able to be deleted without error, as well as the batch basket itself. Log ID 17570: During the update process for EMR only clients the referring doctors will still be inserted eve if the database name is blank. Log ID 17581: Only active departments and clinics are available when importing appointments, correcting the issue where a location was deleted from the manager then added back to the manager and mapped correctly. Log ID 17585: The Prescription Monitoring window now opens much faster improving performance. Log ID 17586: Fixed issue with audit that was preventing the revision encounter from being created. Revision encounters are able to be created from a patient s chart. Log ID 17587: There is now a safety check to eliminate the creation of multiple versions of a single fax due to possible duplicate web service calls. Log ID 17605: Surgical History items added now display the CPT code in the sticky note as well as the add procedure screen and the top section of the surgical history screen. Log ID 17614: Old user defined vaccine codes were not being counted in MU NQF0038. This has been corrected Log ID 17627: The footer displays and prints correctly when using the Preview/Edit button both from chart and the desktop when you are printing a letter or referral letter. Log ID 17637: Corrected the issue where a lab order was created, the specimen source was selected, then the order was saved and when reopened to view it, the specimen source was missing. The specimen source will now be saved when a lab order is saved. Log ID 17647: Entire.tif documents will be published to the patient portal; fixing the issue where only the first page was being published. Log ID 17657: Corrected issue with Flags on scheduled visits showing after a patient was marked as seen. Flag colors will now be reset.. Log ID 17678: Encounter wizard behaves as expected with lab results in the Medical Information step of the encounter. Fixed PowerBuilder error and closing the EMR application when Medical information with lab result was used as step one in an Encounter Wizard. Log ID 17771: Fixed issue where application was looking at having both fax-in and fax-out setup in the manager now will only check for fax-out setup and the fax option in the batch basket will work as expected.. Log ID 17807: When the user changes their password for patient portal in EMR manager but does not change the password on the Updox portal and tries to setup a new patient portal account a message will be displayed indicating that the account cannot be setup. Log ID 17809: Printing patient encounters works as expected. Log ID 17835: changing the filters in Objective Measures will allow the user to deselect all when changing providers even if the provider is not in the common list. Log ID 17836: An obsolete flag has been created to identify vaccine codes marked as inactive by the CDC thus allowing users to uncheck the inactive to allow continued use of the vaccine code. 2

3 Log ID 17845: Average HgA1c for Diabetes Report runs as expected and displays the correct average. Log ID 17859: Lab results are displaying correctly after upgrade. 3

4 MICROMD PM VERSION The following fixes and/or features have been added to MicroMD PM Version for this maintenance release: Log ID 16465: The patient log is updated with the user who added the death date and the date that the information was changed. Log ID 17201: The Claims Processing Report will now correctly show form types after printing claims of more than one form type Log ID 17500: Text on transaction lines within sequences was black and therefor only the highlighted text was viewable. This is now corrected so that text is viewable for dental sequences too.. Log ID 17518: The menu entry for Batch Basket will be grayed out if the user doesn't have permission to access it. Log ID 17628: Preview List functions as expected when printing statements filtered with patient category and/or patient location. Log ID 17634: Added code to the database setup stored procedure to configure the database to allow OLE Automation Procedures. PM will now work as expected when sending claims or retrieving remits. Log ID 17668: New patients can be created and then an OCR scan run to populate the patient information from the identification card. Log ID 17685: PM works as expected when moving from Appointment Inquiry to Day View. Log ID 17688: The Slide Write Off will now take its posting date from the charge that was entered not a payment that may have been posted on a prior day sheet. Log ID 17690: When Moneris payments are automatically posted from online web payments the system will now recognize Discover, Diners Card, Sears and ACH in addition to Visa, MC and AMEX. Log ID 17806: Third-party statements now print with proper header information. 4

5 MICROMD INTERFACES VERSION The following fixes and/or features have been added to the MicroMD Interfaces Version for this maintenance release: Log ID 17496: Spirometry Test performs as expected. Log ID 17623: The correct spelling of MILLENNIUM is now used in the reference database for Millennium Labs. Log ID 17661: Blank NTE segments are now formatted correctly as spaces. Log ID 17716: Added relationship to Solstas interface. Log ID 17757: Panels that appear more than once in the EMR database will not be appear on the ABN form multiple times. 5

6 MICROMD DMS VERSION The following fixes and/or features have been added to MicroMD DMS Version for this maintenance release: Log ID 17625: Multi-page documents in DMS print as expected. Log ID 17691: PT education materials can be printed by using the Print button in the toolbar. 6
