3 GENERAL AVM NAVIGATION Open a web browser and click on the link and use the credentials sent to you: Customers who have joined us from February 2018, please use this link: Customers who joined us before February 2018, please use this link: 1 QUICK REPORTS. AVM provides customers with some quick reports; which are described in detail in this manual. Quick reports can be accessed from the main screen and run on Vehicles or Drivers ( show persons on board cannot be selected for Drivers). In this manual, the Vehicle reports are the examples used. Vehicle reports: Driver Reports: Page 3 of 11

4 Show The first report on both the Vehicle and the Driver list is Show to use this report left click on the Vehicle or Driver icon and select the Show menu. Clicking Show displays the last know/updated location of the vehicle or driver on the map on the main screen with a pop-up bubble with details about the vehicle and the driver if your system is using driver login and the driver has logged into the vehicle: NB: If you get this message, click OK Page 4 of 11

5 Find Click on Find to find the vehicle s current position. A request is then sent to the tracker for vehicle position. This message appears on the bottom right of the screen: Show Last X hours Use this to plot the vehicle's movements over the last hour, 4 hours or 8 hours. Left click on the vehicle icon corresponding to the vehicle you want to plot and select the length of time you want to see: Page 5 of 11

6 The trip you requested now plots on the main screen: 1. A list of the events tracked in the request time frame, these include: a. The GPS connection red means weak, green means strong. b. The date and time of the event. c. The speed the vehicle. d. Event status including: i. Ignition on / off ii. Start / Stop moving iii. Handbrake on / off iv. GPS Position e. Location of the vehicle, address if available or Longitude and latitude. f. The Drivers Name 2. You can click on an event on the left, and you will be taken to that point on the map 3. If you click on an event on the map, a bubble will be displayed with the following displayed: a. Vehicle Name. b. Time and date of the event. c. The speed of the vehicle. d. The Posted speed limit. e. The direction in which the vehicle is travelling. 4. A key to what each of the colours of the event means and the input status of the vehicle. 5. This control panel allows you to step through the recorded events, forward, backward, stop, start, fast forward, fast rewind. 6. To end the report click the X and the screen returns to the main screen. Page 6 of 11

7 Show Trips Over Last 24 Hours Selecting this option gives a list of available trips that have been tracked over the last 24 Hours. Select the trip/s you want to track by clicking the box that corresponds to that trip/s and click OK. Again a screen similar to the one displayed for the show last x hours report. Page 7 of 11

8 Show custom date range Using this report you can select a custom date range for your report, for a maximum of 2 days (48 hours). Choose the time and date you want the report to start and stop with. Alternatively, use the drop-down menu and choose one of the predefined report parameters. Page 8 of 11

9 Track Click the Track menu for one or more vehicles, a new window that splits into the number of Vehicles you are tracking (up to 4 vehicles per new window) is displayed. You are now tracking the displayed vehicles in real time. You can see traffic flow and satellite for each vehicle independently. Page 9 of 11

10 Show in Google There is a quick report item that allows you to see the location of the vehicle on google. Do this allows you to use google maps to get directions, see the satellite and use the street view option and all the other Google Map tools. Page 10 of 11

11 Show Persons on Board If your system has Driver/Crew login capabilities, you can select this menu item to see who is travelling in the vehicle as long as they have logged on. If you have recorded the Drivers phone number, this is displayed as well as their name and the name of other people travelling in the vehicle. Page 11 of 11
