1 Frequently Asked Questions Pinpoint Mobile AVM Introduction Pinpoint Communications MobileAVM enables you to track your vehicles location wherever you and your mobile device are. This powerful mobile application further enhances the benefits of the Pinpoint AVM vehicle tracking system. Increase productivity by improved transparency of the location of your mobile assets and fleet. Reduce costs by improving operational efficiency with lower fuel and maintenance costs. The Mobile AVM is easy to use and fast to run. MobileAVM utilises the latest vehicle location reported by your Pinpoint TRK IVU. The Key Features of MobileAVM are: View one or many vehicles on a map. Change mobile tree to view vehicles, drivers, runs or geo-fence locations. Maps are fully navigable down to street level. Save favourite map views for faster navigation. Zoom to vehicle on the map. View vehicle status including; Driver ID; Address; I/0 state. View vehicle in privacy mode/ business switch Poll vehicle for latest location. Enable Fast Track for 10 second location updates. Generate report and plot on the map. Push Notification for Alarms. Show list of Alarms. Able to clear alarms by completing a form.

2 Frequently Asked Questions Q: How do I login to MobileAVM? A: Enter the current WebAVM username and password into the login fields as shown above. Q: How do I navigate between windows in the app? A: You can switch between the tree window and status window by swiping left or right on the screen. To toggle between the map and the status/ tree window press the Show/Hide Map button at the bottom of the app. A new feature has been added to the latest version of the application, you can now select (remember password).

4 Q: How do I view a vehicle group? A: Short tap on the left of the group, the heading will expand or collapse the vehicle tree. Q: How can I locate a vehicle? A: Select the vehicle and hold on the vehicle and the Find Now option will appear, tap that option and you will see the location. To see the location on the map tap, Show Map.

5 Q: How do I zoom to a vehicle/ multiple vehicles on the map? A: Tap and Hold to reveal the mobile action menu. Select the required function from the menu. Helpful Hints: Fast Track will increase the update rate for a period of time.

6 Select Show last 1, 4 or 8 hours allows you to view quick report and plot on the map. To plot the trip tap the Plot button. Closing this feature will clear the map. Show history allows you to select a custom date range. A: Options

8 Note: To select multiple vehicles from the vehicle tree, press and hold on the vehicle group/ groups required. The below menu will appear. Select all items in all groups to view all vehicles. Once selected press Show Map.

9 Q: How can I navigate around the map? A: Use the map controls in the top left hand corner of the screen. Helpful hint: Use the icon to save your favourite views. Use the icon to view your current location.

10 Q: How do I run a quick report? A: Press and hold on the required vehcile, select the menu option - Show Last Hour, Show last 4 Hrs or Show last 8 Hrs. The Repot data will load as seen below:

11 To Plot on the Map, press on the Plot option as shown above.

12 Press Hide Map to navigate back to the report detail. Q: How do I view alarms? A: Press and hold on the Vehcile tree to select an entity tye, select Alarms as shown below: The Alarm list will appear with the current alarms as seen below:

13 Q: How can I clear the alarms after reviewing the action? A: Long press on the alarm item required, the item list will appear in a drop down view as seen below, select clear alarm.

14 Q: What does it mean when a vehicle status is in PRIVATE? A: If a vehicle is used for private use, organisations have the option to enable a privacy mode, business switch to allow the vehicle to drop off from Web/ Mobile AVM view. While in privacy mode, you will not be able to see status or inputs that you can see with vehicles that are not in privacy mode or receive a location update.
