1 CVR Release Notes Page 1 of 23 CVR Software Release Notes MDEVR Version 16.20C Introduction CVR is pleased to announce Maryland EVR 16.20C. This release includes new features to the MDEVR Product as described in this document. Please note that a shortlist of significant features is available under the Release scope overview section. Required Installation Date The table below describes the main release and (if applicable) consecutive minor releases available as part of MDEVR 16.20C along with their deployment requirements, date of availability and required installation dates. RELEASE SCOPE OVERVIEW The primary features and functions available in this release are: Electronic forms Temp tag stops -Need to remove additional stops Rental Fees change Add Receipt to Parts Only Salvage Transaction Add Salvage Cert # to Receipt when Parts Only Salvage transaction Fix Inventory issue for Salvage Cert Add Light Year import support Add Frazier import support Missing Inspection date Substitute Plate validation when new plate type is different than old plate type block Change default on installation so that print dialogs appear when print forms buttons are clicked B. C. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS New Installation This application can be used for a New Install or for an upgrade to the new version. During the installation process, click Next to accept the default setup values displayed for each of the prompts. Upgrade Installation Clients must be either on version 16.19A or less to upgrade to 16.20C D. ENHANCEMENTS A. Electronic Forms: MD 16.20C release supports DMV form printing on completion of transaction. New DMV forms tab is added to the tools->options window

4 CVR Release Notes Page 4 of 23 With two options Print DMV Report on Deal Completion - Which will allow the application to print selected DMV reports on completion on the deal automatically. Unchecking will stop the automatic printing of Forms Display DMV forms selection Dialog on print which will allow to display the Report configuration screen to display before printing the reports automatically (Which is similar to the window which is displayed on clicking the Configure button.) unchecking will prevent the display of Report configuration window

5 CVR Release Notes Page 5 of 23 Report configuration window on total displays 8 DMV forms which MD EVR can print, with respective Printer selection drop down, Paper selection Drop down, No. of Copies Increment and decrement box and Direct Check box. Deal type drop down displays all the available transactions, user can select a particular Transaction and user can check the required check boxes and their printer settings to print the selection of Forms on completion of deal Upon clicking on save the selection of forms and their settings will be saved and displayed upon reopening Direct check box upon checking prints the physical DMV form through the selected printer and unchecking it displays the forms in PDF format and all the fields editable. Changing the printer and paper selection prints the form from changed printer, A new Button DMV Forms is added to the menu panel of Title and Registration, selecting a deal and clicking on DMV Forms button prints all the respective selected DMV forms from the selected Printer. DMV forms are also added to reports screen to print the DMV forms from report section as well, the functionality remains same. Below table displays the applicable transactions and their eligible DMV forms to be printed.

17 CVR Release Notes Page 17 of 23 C. Rental Fee change As per the legislation passed, returning the Title Fee to $50 for Rental Vehicles only. This refers to the following classes: ARL, ERL, DRL, FRL, GRL, and MRL. All rental transactions processed on or after June 1 st display a Title fee of $50. Any pended deals completed on or after June 1 st displays the same $100 fee. D. Add Receipt to Parts Only Salvage Transaction From release MD 16.20C PC allows Salvage cert-parts only transaction to print Salvage VR-28 form which is application for salvage certificate.

18 CVR Release Notes Page 18 of 23 E. Add Salvage Cert # to Receipt when Parts Only Salvage transaction From this release salvage vr-28 form displays the issued salvage cert inventory number in Maryland# field for salvage cert parts only transaction

19 CVR Release Notes Page 19 of 23 F. Fix Inventory issue for Salvage Cert Issue salvage cert inventory in inventory screen will be displayed in Transmitted status to match the behavior with any other inventory type.

User can import the file by placing import file in C:\ProgramData\CvrImport path Then click on Get deals from Registration ->Menu panel Edit the required data and transmit the deal. H. Add Frazier import support A new import type FRZ has been added to the options->general tab. User can import the file by placing import file in C:\ProgramData\CvrImport path Then click on Get deals from Registration ->Menu panel Edit the required data and transmit the deal.

Missing Inspection date MD 16.20C release is modified to allow 60 day temp tags of VIN s which already have a safety inspection date on DMV without asking to enter an inspection date If the VIN doesn t have an inspection date at state end user is supposed to enter the date. If the given Inspection date is newer than the one in DMV the given value is accepted. J. Substitute Plate validation when new plate type is different than old plate type - block MD EVR doesn t allow changing the plate type when the given old plate type is different from new type. User is displayed with an error message.
