1 CVR Release Notes Page 1 of 17 CVR Software Release Notes FL EVR Version 6.4 Introduction CVR is pleased to announce Florida Electronic Vehicle Registration (FLEVR) Software Release 6.4. This release includes new features to the FL EVR product as described in this document. Please note that a shortlist of significant features is available under the Release scope overview section. Release scope overview The primary features and functions available in this release are: Users can now elect to print the Title Application form on a pending deal. Color fields have been enabled and are optional for Motor home body type New User Affidavit is replaced with an EFS Criminal History Certificate Affidavit Pending Report- Sort order has been changed to Issue Date Buyer customer number has been added to the ADP import Dealer Management System Fee Quote: Previous State, Title Number and Previous Issue Date are now Optional for Fee Quotes Temp Tag DMV $2 Fee - will now be reflected on the Daily Bundle Report. Inventory can now be received directly into the CVR System. Faxing and ing orders to CVR Customer Support is no longer necessary. Vehicle Body Color is now imported from all dealer management systems. User can add custom colors. Customer and Stock number field are optionally required. User can configure via Tools-Options. Ability to perform a Lienholder FID-Cust Number lookup from Lien Maintenance Ability to perform Title Number Preload from inside the vehicle page Auto Check Link has been added to launch the ADP Dealer Suite web site. New Users are no longer required to accept an end user agreement via the FL EVR product. Brother HL2240 has been certified to print Registration Certificates. Resolved the issue where F&I stations was completing non-etr type deals. B. System Requirements FLEVR requires a computer with the following minimum hardware configuration: 1024x768 or higher resolution video card and monitor A high-speed internet connection (DSL, Cable, T1, etc.) Keyboard and mouse A laser printer for Registration Cards/Reports and/or Decal on Demand Registration Card printer A CD ROM drive for installations and updates. One of the following operating systems with the recommended hardware configuration for the OS: Windows XP Professional 800 MHz or faster processor 512 MB system memory 1.5GB available hard disk space Windows 7 Pro (32-bit) 1 GHz or faster processor 1 GB system memory 16 GB available hard disk space Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) 1 GHz or faster processor 2 GB of system memory 20 GB available hard disk space Note: 250 MB of free hard disk space should be available for the EVR application and database files for a typical installation.

3 CVR Release Notes Page 3 of 17 C. Installation Instructions New Installation This application can be used for a New Install or for an upgrade to the new version. During the installation process, click Next to accept the default setup values displayed for each of the prompts. Upgrade Installation Clients must be on version 6.2A and 6.3A to upgrade to 6.4A All Vista installs must be clean installs to support the new Vista directory structure Versions prior to 6.2A will not upgrade to 6.4A D. State Mandates 1. Users can now elect to print The Title Application form on a pending deal The Dealers will be able to print the Title Application report for every successful PEND transaction. This report at this stage of the deal, will allow dealerships to show proof of Title Application with the lenders name on it, to the prospective lender. In turn, the lender may release funds to fund the sale of the vehicle and subsequently becomes the Lien holder on record. In Tools-Options- Printer Tab, a new configuration Print Title App at Pend is added. If the Print Title App at Pend flag is checked, then Title Application is printed at the time when a deal is pended only when Number of Lienholders is 1 or 2. The Title Application is not printed when Number of Lienholders is selected as none or Pending. If the Print Title App at Pend flag is unchecked, then Title Application is not printed at the time when a deal is pended. The Print Title App at Pend flag is unchecked by default as shown below: 2. Color fields have been enabled and are optional for Motor home body type Color fields are enabled and optional when processing transaction types with Body style= Motor homes.

4 CVR Release Notes Page 4 of New User Affidavit is replaced with an EFS Criminal History Certificate Affidavit The current User Affidavit is replaced with an updated EFS Criminal History Certificate Affidavit. 4. New Printer Brother HL2240 The current Printer HP1006P is no longer on the market and has been replaced with a Brother HL2240 Printer. E. Enhancements 1. Pending Report- Sort order has been changed to Issue Date Pending Report is sorted by Issue Date by default as shown below:

6 CVR Release Notes Page 6 of Buyer customer number has been added to the ADP import Dealer Management System Customer Number is a field currently supported in the ADP DMS. This field is mapped to DLR Cust# in the FLEVR client application. On Importing a deal from ADP DMS, if a Customer Number is present in the import file, then it is imported and to DLR Cust# field in the application. 3. New Message when PDF fails to download for the Title Application The following failure message is displayed to the user when the PDF download fails to download due to timing issue in FRIVS releasing the image back to CVR with the successful transaction data. "File is not ready to download from DMV. Please recover deal to reprint". 4. Fee Quote: Previous State, Title Number and Previous Issue Date are now Optional for Fee Quotes When a station is set to be 1-step, the following fields on the Vehicle screen are optional for the Fee Quote transaction: Title State Title Number Previous Issue Date

7 CVR Release Notes Page 7 of Temp Tag DMV $2 Fee - will now be reflected on the Daily Bundle Report Bundle reports are divided into Daily and Tax Collector daily transaction reports. This will satisfy dealer and tax collector s reconciliation of the $2 fee for Temporary Transfer transactions. The dealers will continue to see the $2 fee on the Dealer Daily Transaction Report as this will be part of the sum total debited from their account, whereas the Temporary Transfer transactions are excluded from the Tax Collector s Daily Transaction Report as the $2 fee is paid to the DMV and not to their agency. Both Reports will be generated during overnight processing. End user will be able to selectively print both reports or one of the reports from the Bundle Reports Dialog. Dealer = Prints Dealer Daily Transaction Report with all the fees including (ETR Fees) Temp Transfer and Temp Tag Issue deals. Tax Collector = Prints Tax Collector Transaction Report to exclude ETR Fees (Temp Transfer and Temp Tag Issue) Both = Print two Bundle Reports Dealer and Tax Collector bundle report Default selection = Dealer Below are the illustrations of the new Bundle Reports dialog box, Dealer Daily Transaction Report and Tax Collector Daily Transaction Report.

9 CVR Release Notes Page 9 of Inventory can now be received directly into the CVR System Inventory orders entered in the FLEVR client will be immediately added to the CVR System and will be ready to issue. This will cut down the process of faxing the inventory details and phone calls to CVR Help Desk. When Inventory is successfully received into the CVR system, the user will receive the following message: When the inventory receipt into CVR System fails, the user will see the message below: Invalid request. Adding Inventory to the CVR System has been Unsuccessful. Please fax your inventory list to (800) for immediate assistance The users can fax their inventory to the CVR Help Desk if inventory receipt into CVR system fails.

10 CVR Release Notes Page 10 of Vehicle Body Color is now imported from all dealer management A new table Color Maintenance is added to Maintenance list for mapping MSO colors to DMV Colors. A new mapping can be added by clicking on New Button and mapping a state color to Manufacturer color as illustrated below: A user can also edit or delete a color mapping from the Color Maintenance list.

11 CVR Release Notes Page 11 of 17 The mappings can also be performed when a new MSO color is present in the imported file from DMS. The Manufacturer color imported from the DMS is displayed besides the Color field as shown below: Once a color is selected, the user will be prompted to save the color mapping for future reference. If the user selects the option yes, the Color mapping will be saved to the Color Maintenance table in the Maintenance section. If there is already a mapping present in the Color Maintenance list for the MSO Color present in the DMS import file, the state color mapped to that respective MSO Color is shown in the Vehicle page of the transaction. 8. Configure the customer number field via an option in Tools Options The Customer Number field can be configured to be required / optional in FLEVR Client. In Tools-Options- General Tab, a new configuration Require Customer Number is added. If the flag is checked, the DLR Cust# field in the Owner tab becomes mandatory and is highlighted in white Color.

12 CVR Release Notes Page 12 of 17 If the flag is unchecked, the DLR Cust# field in the Owner tab becomes optional and is highlighted in gray Color. The flag Require Customer Number is unchecked by default. 9. Configure the Stock Number field via an option in Tools In Tools-Options- General Tab, a new configuration Require Stock Number is added. If the flag is checked, the Stock# field in the Vehicle tab becomes mandatory and is highlighted in White Color. If the flag is unchecked, the Stock# field in the Vehicle tab becomes optional and is highlighted in gray Color. The flag Require Stock Number is unchecked by default.

13 CVR Release Notes Page 13 of Ability to perform a Lienholder FID-Cust Number lookup from Lien Maintenance In the Lien Maintenance Section, users will be able to retrieve Lienholder information using a FEID or DMV Customer Number preload function. A new search button is added besides FID and DMV Cust# fields as shown below: 11. Ability to perform Title Number Preload from inside the vehicle page In the Vehicle Page, users will have the ability to retrieve used vehicle information for a using a Title Number preload function. A new search button is added besides Title# field as shown below:

14 CVR Release Notes Page 14 of Country codes are now shown with a full name description The Country Codes are changed to show full Country names in the Mailing Address of the owner page. 13. ID columns have been added to the lien-owner maintenance lists FID and Customer No columns are added to Lienholder Maintenance list which helps in distinguishing Lien Names that look alike. DL/FID column is added to Owner Maintenance list to distinguish owner names.

15 CVR Release Notes Page 15 of Florida Inquiry-Preload screen Can now use ctrl + V short cut to paste copied values. The users can now paste the inquiry data by using Ctrl+V option in the fields listed below. a. FID Field in the Inquiry screen b. Preload screen - Plate, VIN, Title Number Customer Number, FID, DL Number 15. Auto Check Link has been added to launch the ADP DealerSuite web site. Auto-Check Link is added to the Links section of FL EVR product. Auto Check can be used to search for vehicle history including auction and accident data. 16. Change Process MTS label to Mark Title Sold on the confirmation dialogue box The label for the dialog box Process MTS has been changed to Process Mark Title Sold. 17. Temp Tag Issue - $2 DMV will now display/print on the Dealer Daily Transaction Report The Temp TAG Issue $2.00Fee is displayed in the Dealer Daily Transaction Report.

16 CVR Release Notes Page 16 of 17 Pull ticket shows the $2 Temp tag issue DMV fee in the Taxes Column. 18. Temp Tag pricing sheet removed from the FL EVR product New Users are no longer required to accept an end user agreement via the FL EVR product. 19. Updated Communication Communication platform has been updated for efficient software downloads and message delivery to end user workstations. 20. Updated Zip Code and Polk Tables The Zip Code and Polk tables have been updated to decode new city zip codes as well as 2011 Vehicle Makes and Models.

17 CVR Release Notes Page 17 of Date Validation Date range validation is performed on various date type fields in the FLEVR client. If the date is invalid, the field is highlighted in white Color as shown below. The Registration Tab will not validate until the date validation issue is resolved by the end user, by entering the correct date. If the date value entered is valid, the field is greyed out as shown below: 22. New CVR Product Icon CVR is changing the FLEVR client application icon as shown below: This application icon is displayed on desktop, system tray, startup and Add/Remove Programs.
