1 Dated: May/June 2014 Reference Table Data File Update As per the change in South Africa regarding the Decimal Point re-introduction, the South African Revenue Service [SARS] has mandated that all airfares, taxes, including the South African V.A.T tax code ZV will, from June 03 rd 2014, not be rounded and be displayed unrounded with the applicable decimal points as.00, e.g. ZAR All Travelport South African connected agencies using the Travelport Smartpoint app are required to update their local Travelport Smartpoint Reference Data file on each Desktop or Server running the application before business trade commences on June 03 rd 2014, but not prior to 00h01 on June 03 rd By obtaining and installing this new Travelport Smartpoint Reference Data, users will be ensured that all financial displays [360 Fares, fare quotes, fare displays, ticketing record information, RoomMaster and CarMaster] in the Travelport Smartpoint app are displaying correctly. Failure to install this important Reference Data file will impact Travelport Smartpoint users as not all displays will reflect correctly. Although the new Reference Data file is backward compatible to the following versions of the Travelport Smartpoint app: 3.0.0, 3.0.1, and It is HIGHLY recommended that all users of the Travelport Smartpoint app have, prior to the Reference Data file installation upgrade their Travelport Smartpoint version to the latest published version, version To obtain your version currently installed, click on HELP and scroll down and click on About Page 1

2 To obtain the latest version of the Travelport Smartpoint app, access the TOOLS menu and scroll down and click on the AUTOMATIC UPDATE OPTIONS item: Your current version will be displayed, to check if an upgrade is available, click on the CHECK NOW box below: If a newer version is found you will have the option to select it, download and install. If you have the latest version, you will be returned the below dialogue box: Page 2

3 Step 1: Please click on the below hyperlink to access and install the Travelport Smartpoint Reference Data self-extracting file. Before accessing and installing this file, please ensure that the Travelport Smartpoint app and Galileo Desktop are closed. This file extraction is compatible with all users of Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows 7 and Windows 8, in addition, compatible with your default internet browser, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari, HOWEVER it is recommended that this link and subsequent installation is accessed via Internet Explorer ONLY. If Internet Explorer does not appear automatically, open it, copy and paste the above link into the Internet Explorer browser manually Once the self-extracting file has appeared, please follow the below listed step by step process to install the file: Internet Explorer Version 8: Click on RUN: Internet Explorer Version 9 through 11: Click on RUN: Page 3

4 Step 2: Once the dialogue box has appeared on the SECURITY WARNING, click on RUN on each screen displayed below: Click on RUN: Click on NEXT: Page 4

5 Accept the I ACCEPT THE TERMS IN THE LICENSE AGREEMENT, by placing a tick in the tick box, then click on next: Click on NEXT: Page 5

6 Click on INSTALL: At this point, please wait a couple of minutes for the installation to commence: Page 6

7 Once the installation has completed, click on FINISH: Your Travelport Smartpoint Reference Data files have now been successfully installed. Step 3: Open up Travelport Galileo Desktop and continue working in the Travelport Smartpoint app. Page 7
