3 Upgrading the Comparison Screen The comparison screen has been upgraded to include additional comparing parameters and indicators. A new Print Drivers Comparison window has been added From now on, you can see which print drivers are installed on which hosts by simply clicking the Compare Print Drivers icon from the tool bar. You can use the Filter By option to display which hosts to compare, Terminal Server, Controllers or All hosts. When the All From list option is clicked, the list of all drivers installed on all hosts will be displayed in the central column. The red color indicates that the print driver isn t installed on all host but only on some of them. You can see on which hosts exactly the print driver is installed by clicking the print driver you are interested in. The grid with all hosts will be shown on the right and those which the print driver is installed on will be checked. An ability to detect missing applications that should be installed on hosts The All From list option has been added into the Compare Applications screen. When the All From list option is clicked, the list of all applications installed on all hosts will be displayed in the central column. The red color indicates that the application isn t installed on all host but only on some of them. You 3

4 can see on which hosts exactly the application is installed by clicking the application you are interested in. The grid with all hosts will be shown on the right and those which the application is installed on will be checked. An ability to detect missing Registry Keys that should be on hosts The All From list option has been added into the Compare Registry screen. When the All From list option is clicked, the list of the main registry keys is displayed. You can drill down and use the red color indicator to check whether the registry keys are exit on all hosts or not. 4

5 Support for multiple monitors' modes An ability to display Cockpit Applications in dual view and switch between the monitors. End user can now control on which monitor to display the application/browser, as well as to benefit from the dual view option. The ability to define for each Terminal Server on which monitor to display the application. You can now define per host on which monitor to display the applications that are installed on that host. This can be done by simply selecting the Force Switch Monitor check box on Host of Terminal Server type, under the Services tab. This will override the Monitor policy on the Client side, and make the "Open on Display" drop down list enabled that allows you to choose on which monitor to display the applications installed on that host. 5

6 Seamless Taskbar Grouping An ability to group Taskbar icons the same way local application icons are grouped on task bar has been added. This is an optional functionality which can be configured by clicking the Group Similar taskbar buttons check box on the COCKPIT RDP policy under the Session tab. Client Log report was upgraded New indicators have been added to the Client Log: MAC indicates the MAC number of the user's work station OS indicates the operation system installed on user's work station SP indicates which service pack is installed on user's work station 6

7 32/64 bit indicates which bit version is installed on user's work station SC will be checked in case the user connected via Secure Connector. 7
