It delivers Unified Modeling Language (UML)-based visual modeling and design. Software analysts, architects, and developers use the Rose Developer for UNIX to model, design, and develop software on the UNIX platform in various languages. With UML for data modeling, Rose Developer for UNIX allows analysts to complete their tasks using the same language (UML) as the requirements analysts and application designers and developers. This permits everyone to use one language for the entire analysis and development lifecycle. With visual models, testers can more effectively test an application eliminating potential errors or mistakes by automating the process of generating test scripts, test drivers, and even test code. With visual modeling and UML, developers can more efficiently write application code basically helping them build better software faster.
