Technical information The KWS Modular System ( up to a length of 3000 mm without mid-point support) The KWS Modular System offers individual solutions for door handle designs.

Suitable tubes Ø30x1,5 / Ø35x1,5 / Ø40x / 30x and different sorts of timber Ø35 and Ø40 are also available for standard length or cut to length.

3 Technical information The KWS Modular System ( up to a length of 3000 mm without mid-point support) The KWS Modular System offers individual solutions for door handle designs. The supports are available for Ø 30 up to Ø 4,4 mm and 30 x 30 mm, according to the different chosen series. Suitable tubes Ø30x1,5 / Ø35x1,5 / Ø40x / 30x and different sorts of timber Ø35 and Ø40 are also available for standard length or cut to length. Door handle fixings and design caps complete these systems. The KWS door handles made out of the Modular system are also available as factory mounted handles. To install a door handle use the supports, cut the tube to length, stick together the tube and the supports. At a modular door handle with wooden handle ( Ø35 / Ø40 ) the clamping element is replaced by an M8 threaded insert. The modular supports series WS, RS and KS cover the cut edges. So it is possible to compensate miscuts up to 5 mm per end support without seeing the end of the tube. The series WS ( VA - AISI 304) and WS4 ( V4A - AISI 316) are new. The difference between this two series is the stainless steel alloy. Series WS4 is made out of stainless steel , the most persistant series against corrosion in the modular system. The series WS and WS4 are without socket, the cutting ends are visible and have to be cut exactly.
