2 Geeral Applicatio Photoelectric Sesors 2 The TRI-TRONICS photoelectric sesors are desiged to be low i cost ad high i value. The sesors are waterproof ad are eclosed i a high-impact plastic housig. Thru-Beam Models utilize a separate light source ad receiver for Beam Break sesig. Recommeded for log-rage sesig or for use i eviromets where dust or dirt buildup may cover the les. The sesors provide a very arrow beam path from the light source to the receiver ad are perfect for sesig small gaps or precise sesig tasks, which is critical whe attemptig to resolve the exact locatio of passig objects. The light source requires a simple 2-wire coectio ad fuctios idepedetly of other receivers. Retroreflective Models operate i either the Beam Make or Beam Break sesig mode ad are desiged to be used with a prismatic reflector. Detectio occurs whe the light beam is broke by a passig target or object. The visible, red, polarized model helps to prevet proxig or respodig to udesirable light reflectig from shiy objects, such as cas, glass ad clear plastic. The ivisible, ifrared light source model is recommeded for log-rage sesig. Proximity Models are desiged for close rage sesig tasks ad operate by detectig the reflected light from targeted objects. The red LED light source is recommeded for detectig trasparet objects, such as clear glass or plastic bottles. The ivisible ifrared LED light source is recommeded for geeral purpose sesig tasks. All sesors are available with a quick discoect M8 or M12 4-PIN coector or a potted 6 (1.8 m) 4-wire cable, ad with a red or ifrared LED light source. They are easy to set up ad ca operate i either the light ON or dark ON mode. For light ON operatio, coect the white wire to egative ad for dark ON operatio, simply coect the white wire to positive.
