1 CDR Pan Elite Connecting the CDR Pan Elite to the Network. 1. CDR Pan Elite is a networkable device it will be connected to the Switch or hub for the office. a. Since it is a networkable device it can be setup on more than one operatory. 2. The cables form the pan are actually Fiber optic cables these will connect in to the Media converter then there will be a Cat 5 form the media converter to the Switch or hub for the office. Installing the CDR Pan Elite Software. 1. CDR Pan Elite is supported in Eaglesoft 14 and above and also in CDR 3.5 and above. a. With Eaglesoft 14 and CDR 3.5 there is a separate CD that comes with the Pan Elite. This will include the software needed to interface the unit with the software. This will also install the Pan and Ceph templates for CDR. b. With Eaglesoft 15 this software is installed with the installation of the digital integration. c. For all of the installations all of the files for the PanElite install to the same location C:\Program Files\Schick technologies\cdr PanElite. d. 6 Setting the pan IP and connecting to the Software. 1. The default IP address of the CDR Elite pan Is Turn the Pan Unit On. 3. Browse to C:\Program Files\Schick Technologies\CDR PanElite\CDR PanElite Service. 4. Open the SIXABCon.exe 5. Click on the Attributes tab. 6. Then add component. 7. Password is the date reversed for example today is 10/15 so the password would be Turn the Pan unit off then turn it back on. a. The pan will then send out a broadcast signal to the network if the network is on the same IP scheme the computer should pick it up automatically. b. If it does pick it up you can click apply then it will allow you to change the network information for the pan form this screen. 9. If it does not pick it up automatically you can choose user defined to do a search on the network of unregistered x-ray components and it may find it that way. 10. If it does not find it either way you may have to manually change the IP on the Unit itself to match the IP scheme of the office. a. Push and hold the Service Button S till it lights up. b.
