With the adoption of the latest optical communication technology, its throughput was boosted from standard 3.2 Tbps to large-capacity 8.4 Tbps in July Asia Submarine-cable Express (ASE), our large-capacity, low-latency backbone cable connecting Japan with high-growth Asian markets such as the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia, offers a throughput surpassing 15 Tbps.
