1 NetWrix Instructions PASSWORD RESET TOOL Westat is supporting a new self-service password tool (Netwrix). All TRC staff will be required to enroll and use this service for their TRC accounts. Triage and TRC Help will no longer be available to reset passwords after January 1, This tool will allow you to reset your password if you have been locked out of your account, unlock your account if you have been locked out but know your password, or you can change your existing password. This account allows you to log into the metaframe (WRA) and into Spark. Your username for this account is your Westat WINs number. ENROLLMENT First you must enroll your account. Go to

2 BOOKMARK THIS LINK/ OR MAKE IT A FAVORITE SO THAT YOU CAN ALWAYS GET HERE. Use the drop down menu to change the Domain setting to trc. TRC is your Citrix account.

3 Enter your WINS number in the account name field, type your password and click the Next button. If you don t know your password, contact TRC Help and ask them to reset it prior to getting to this step. Then select your three security questions. You can choose from the questions in the drop down menu or create a custom question. After you select a question type the answer in the answer field.

4 This is what will appear if you choose to create a custom question. Type the question into the custom question field and then the answer in the answers field. When you have answered three questions click Next. You will then be taken to a screen confirming the completion of your enrollment. You should also receive an from PC Help confirming your enrollment.

5 Congratulations, you have enrolled your TRC account. RESETTING YOUR PASSWORD To Reset Your Password: Use Reset if you have forgotten your password and your account is locked. From the home page, click on Reset password. Type your WINS in the account name field and use the drop down menu to set the domain to trc. Then click Next. Answer the three security questions. You can click Hide answers, but you will not see what you are typing for the answers. The answers are NOT case sensitive, but need to be exactly what you used when enrolling.

6 After answering all three questions, click Next. Type a new password in the Enter New Password field. Confirm the new password by re-typing it in the Confirm New Password field, and then click Proceed.

7 Make sure that Unlock my Account is checked. You will receive this message as well as an confirming your password was changed successfully. The updated password can take up to 20 minutes to show up in our citrix server. Please be patient. CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD To Change password: You can change your password at any time.

8 Westat Password Rules: Passwords must contain AT LEAST twelve (12) characters. Passwords must contain a mixture of different character types: upper and lower case letters, numbers, and/or symbols (i.e.,!@#$%^&*). Passwords must NOT contain three of more characters from your user account name. Passwords must be changed AT LEAST every 60 days. From the home page click Change Password. Citrix - Type your WINS in the account name field. Be sure to change the Domain to trc. Next type your current password in the old password field. Then type your new password and confirm it. When finished click Next.

9 You will receive this message as well as an confirming your password was changed successfully. The updated password can take up to 20 minutes to show up in our citrix server. Please be patient. Unlocking Your Account To Unlock account: You can unlock your accounts if you know your password, but for some reason, you locked yourself out of a system. Doing this action will not change your password. Click on the Unlock Account button.

10 For Citrix: type your WINS in the account name field and change the domain to trc. Answer the three security questions.

11 When finished click Next. You will then receive this message and an confirming your account was unlocked.
