In the end of this guide there are some solutions to known issues you might encounter. Important: If you have Good for Enterprise installed on your phone, you will need to remove it first. 2 Overview: Microsoft Intune Company Portal is used to register your device and to manage security compliance, so you can use mail and calendar on your mobile device. Once the setup is complete, you don t need to use the company portal but you can t delete it. This solution works on all iphones and ipads, whether they are issued by Codan or are personal. It should also work on most Android devices, but there is no guarantee. The security policy requires your phone to have a 6 digit PIN code, that is no older than 90 days. You will be asked to create a new code every 90 days. You can find several tips & tricks guides on Help Hub 2

3 Go to App store, search for Intune and download the app. Open the app, type your mail address, and you will be redirected to the RSA login site. Password is the same you use for Windows 3

4 Intune Company portal will configure your access to RSA Scandi apps and other resources. Press Start. Information about why you should enroll your device. Press continue. 4

5 Information about what IT can see on your device, and what they can t. Press continue. Information about next step. Press Sign up. 5

6 Your iphone will now ask you to install a certificate. Press install. Write the PIN code for your phone (if you have one). If it s less than 6 digits and older 6

7 Confirm to install. Installing Intune company portal will allow your IT administrator to remotely setup or remove mail accounts, group policies and delete iphone data in case of theft. Press install. 7

8 Confirm the installation. The certificate is now installed. Press OK. 8

9 You will now be redirected to a website, and prompted to open the site in the app Company portal. Press Open. Your device is now enrolled, and Intune has to check if the settings on your iphone is compatible with RSA Scandi policies. Press Continue. 9

10 Intune will now prompt you to install various Microsoft apps, if you do not already have them installed. Go ahead and install them all. Once you have pressed install for all the apps, press Continue again. 10

11 Intune will now control your iphone compatibility. This can take a while, but you don t have to keep the app open. Check back in after a few minutes. If the control is successful, you will get a message saying so. Press ok. 11

12 If your phones PIN code is shorter than 6 characters OR is older than 90 days, it will need to be changed. This will likely be the reason for the pop-up shown below. A message like the one below will pop up every minute on your screen until you change the PIN. Press Continue and create a new PIN (minimum 6 characters). 12

13 When the compatibility control is successfully complete, your iphone should now be set up to use the native mail and calendar apps with your RSA Scandi mail. When opening the mail app you will be prompted to enter your password the first time. [Document Author] 13

14 Known issues and solutions 1. Compatibility control fails. 2. Compatibility control succeeds, but opening the mail app shows the message of Can not connect and the inbox is empty. 3. Users with other mail can t login to Intune. 14

15 1) Known issue: Compatibility control fails. You will have to synchronize your device. From the front page of the Company Portal app, click on your device. Then click Synchronize in the bottom right corner. 15

16 2) Known issue: Mail inbox is empty (continues on next page) Open the Company portal app, and press on your device Press Remove

18 3) Known issue: Users with other mail domains can t log into Intune Instead of your mailaddress, type in adep01\(your initials) e.g. adep01\x1w7. Use your Windows password Follow page 4-12, then manually configure the mail by following next pages

19 Continued from last page Go to settings in your iphone, and open Mail. Go to accounts.

20 Continued from last page Add a new account Select Exchange.

21 Continued from last page Instead of your mail address, type in adep01\(your initials). \ is made by pressing and holding down on the / sign on the keyboard. Use your Windows password. Type in the information as below, but with your initials instead of x1w7 (and your password of course).
