Failure to do so may result in the rejection of the bid. This Addendum is hereby included in and made a part of the Contract Documents. This Addendum is being provided to all registered plan holders. All requirements of the original Project Specifications, Drawings and any previous Addenda shall remain in force except as amended by this addendum. Addendum No. 02 consists of a Total of twelve (12) pages; the breakdown is as follows: Six (6) pages of Table of Contents Two (2) pages of Schedule of Prices Two (2) pages of Revisions, Clarifications and Modifications Two (2) pages of Addendum No. 02 ======================================================================== The following corrections, changes, additions, deletions, revisions, and/or clarifications are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the above referenced project. In case of conflicts between this Addendum and previous issued Documents, this Addendum shall have precedence. Bidders shall make the following change to all pertinent sheets, pages, and paragraphs of the bid proposal, plans, specifications and other Contract Documents and take same into full consideration in arriving at the prices bid. BID DATE: 1. This Addendum does not alter the previously published bid date of January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. 2. 4 REPLACE: By removing the existing section in its entirety and insert the new attached Section into the Project Manual. 3. SECTION: SCHEDULE OF PRICES [ 1 thru 2] REPLACE: By removing the existing section in its entirety and insert the new attached Section into the Bidder s Submittal Packet. [ 1 thru 2] SCHEDULE OF PRICES REPLACE: By removing the existing section in its entirety and insert the new attached Section into the Project Manual. 4. SECTION: REVISION, CLARIFICATION AND MODIFICATIONS [ 1 thru 2] REPLACE: By removing the existing section in its entirety and insert the new attached Section titled, Revisions, Clarifications and Modifications to the Project Manual. 5. SECTION: ADDENDUM NO. 02 [ 1 thru 2] ADD: By inserting the new Section titled, Addendum No. 02 to the Project Manual (see attached). CHANGES TO SPECIFICATIONS 6. SECTION: CLEANING OF SEWER MAINS [Page 6] DELETE: Subsection 3.4.A in its entirety. REPLACE: Subsection 3.4.A Brick and debris removal is defined as the removal of loose brick and debris piles that are located only on the sewer bench within the rehabilitation area and locations as shown on the Brick and Debris Removal Area Schedules within the Drawings. Brick layers securely mortared to the bench, walls, cunette, or manholes shall not be removed. BID INQUIRIES 7. General Bid Inquiry Questions and Answers: A. Question: We assume that the contractor can utilize a lane closure for a laydown area? Will there be other designated areas for laydown? Will an engineering office or onsite site trailer be acceptable in the proposed laydown area? Response: Limited areas might be available through Contractor coordination with permitting agencies as identified within Section at Contractor s cost. B. Question: Sheet 10 of the plans, Our access point is at sta lining begins at sta I feel that distance is too far for us, can we drill a 12" casing in at the upstream end at sta to allow us access for our hoses?
