27 APPENDIX A: Verification/Confirmation timestamp issue with SunGuide Currently SunGuide is incorrectly recording verification/confirmation timestamps. This issue is documented in FootPrint Issue# Until this issue is resolved we are able to verify the confirmation times meet the 1 minute time limit by examining the Status Active timestamp of each event s chronology. The problem causing the issue has been identified and fix has been proposed. The documentation has been updated below to reflect this. The Average Incident Duration graphs on page 14, however, are still calculated using the incorrect timestamps currently being generated by Sunguide and are therefore much higher than actual confirmation times. Copy of current status of Footprint Issue #3321: Workspace: SunGuide Issue: INTIAL_CONFIRMED_DATE is incorrect in EM_EVENT_PERFMEASD Issue Number: 3321 Priority: Defect Status: SwRI Verification Date: 02/18/2016 Time: 09:21:46 Creation Date: 09/09/2015 Creation Time: 11:09:53 Created By: britchson Description: Entered on 02/18/2016 at 09:21:46 CST (GMT-0600) by AJ Skillern: I was finally able to reproduce the issue. The reason this was not immediately reproducible is that it does not appear to be possible for an event created from the Operator Map to cause this issue. The only way I could reproduce this was through an event created by the SPARR app. Any event created from the map should actually be a series of more than one request to EM, one to add the event to the system and then a second to modify it. The initial request to add the event was skipping the check to see if that timestamp should be set, and then the modify request was actually setting it. When an event is created from SPARR it is only the single add event request; the successive requests to change the event owner and event status do not follow the same logic as a full modify of the event. I have compiled a hotfix for SG6.1p1 that will be available pending testing from Central Office/TERL. There is a database script that will be a part of this hotfix that should retroactively assign the INITIAL_CONFIRMED_DATE in the EM_EVENT_PERFMEASD table as well as the corresponding SYS_CONFIRMED_DATE in the EM_EVENT table. 28 Date: 10/02/2015 Time: 10:11:20 Creation Date: 09/09/2015 Creation Time: 12:09:53 Created By: britchson Click here to view Issue in Browser Description: Entered on 10/02/2015 at 10:11:20 EDT (GMT-0400) by Brian Ritchson: Sent by Joseph Parks Brian, I want to add to the current issue some data that we seeing in D7. It seems that there is a wrinkle in the issue on some of the Mobile Uploads from our road rangers. The initial confirmation is null/blank on some of their incidents. I've attached a sample of Event Chronologies from yesterday. Take a look at the events through 294. They are all examples of missing Inital Confirmed times where it's the Road Ranger initiating the event. Then, look at when the TMC initiates the event and then sets the status to active after the Road Ranger arrives himself. The confirmed timestamp is correctly tied to the status - active time. Other incidents seem to tie the confirmed timestamp to the Location time. Entered on 09/16/2015 at 11:42:31 EDT (GMT-0400) by Tucker Brown: D3 reported the issue via the attached to this issue so there is no a separate issue. We have not yet identified why this is different. Entered on 09/16/2015 at 11:32:52 EDT (GMT-0400) by john.mcfadden@talgov.com: Is the D3 issue reported by Joe the same as what we are experiencing? Is there a footprint I can look at to see the status? Have you been able to look at SunGuide to see if there's an issue with how initial confirmed is stored? While this does not have an operator impact, it does have an impact to how we are able to report our TMC performance to District 3. Entered on 09/09/2015 at 14:53:43 EDT (GMT-0400) by Tucker Brown: Apologies. It was D3 that was reporting this issue. Contacts updated Entered on 09/09/2015 at 14:48:39 EDT (GMT-0400) by Tucker Brown: This seems like a similar issue that was ed to us by district 7. Attaching that information as well. We are looking into this issue. Entered on 09/09/2015 at 12:09:52 EDT (GMT-0400) by Brian Ritchson: In the attached event chronology report, you will see that the confirmed date does not match the information found in the event chronology. The confirmed date at the top of the report is at 10:35:33 AM and the event was set to active at 10:22:33 AM. Please work with JJ if you need any logs or additional information.
