3 STORE PAGE OVERVIEW Community of Shoppers Local Stores on Shop Your Way Store Pages Shop Your Way combines browsing and shopping with a rich social experience. Shop Your Way platform is used by millions of loyal members. Shop your Way members who are part of Shop Your Way Rewards (SYWR) loyalty program earn at least 10 Points for every $1 spent in Sears and Kmart and with qualifying business partners (Partners Program). The more SYWR members shop, the more Points they earn. SYWR members can redeem as many points as they like at checkout either online or in Sears or Kmart stores. Members can also participate in hundreds and soon thousands of sweepstakes and contests launched every day. 92% of Shop Your Way users are also members of the Shop Your Way Rewards Program. Shop Your Way members love information about local stores, promotions, and products available in their local shopping locations. 4 STORE PAGE ABOUT STORE PAGES Shop Your Way Store Pages are designed to allow stores to stay in touch with the local shopping community and provide information about deals and special events Customize and Manage your Page 1. Status updates: publish new messages, images or videos to the store page s Recent Activity Feed. 2. Catalogs: aggregate various types of content that the Store wants to share with followers in your catalogs. 3. Local Deals: A customized section for Sears and Kmart stores which contains all local deals available at the specific location. 4. Followers: lists all local customers who are following a Store Page. 5 STORE PAGE HOW TO POST STATUS UPDATES What is a Status Update: Status update is a short message which is published in the activity feed of your Store Page and in the activity feed of users who follow your Store Page. A Status Update can be: Text, Image or Video. 1 IMPORTANT! IMPORTANT! Change your Shop Your Way identity from a Shop Your Way user identity to Store Page identity. It is a crucial step to ensure that all actions that you take on Shop Your Way appear as actions performed by the Store Page. 6 STORE PAGE CREATE CATALOG What is Catalog: A catalog is a collection of items. Shop Your Way allows you to upload any type of content to your catalogs: Text, products, images, and videos. 7 STORE PAGE CREATE CATALOG 1 IMPORTANT! Change your Shop Your Way identity from a Shop Your Way user identity to Store Page identity. It is crucial to ensure that all actions that you take on Shop Your Way appear as actions performed by the Store Page and not as actions performed by the user. 2 Create a new catalog from one of the access points: Click on catalogs, in the left navigation. In the catalogs page click on create new catalog, and follow the instructions. Start from a product page. Each product page on Shopyourway.com has an Add to catalog button. Clicking it allows you to add the product to an existing catalog or to create a new one. Start from any product you discover on the site. Simply hover over a product image, and you will see the catalog icon. Click on the catalog icon to add this product to an existing catalog or to create a new catalog. 3 Start adding content to your catalog: products, images, videos. To populate your catalog, simply click on the Add product button on the right side of the product page, product quickview and several other locations (image 1). You can also add content to a catalog directly on the catalog page (image 2). 4 Edit your catalog: You can edit your catalog s settings by clicking the Settings tab. 8 STORE PAGE CREATE A POLL What is a Poll on Shop Your Way? Polls enable businesses to gain additional market insight into the needs, preferences and opinions of Shop Your Way members. Each poll has a unique URL that you can also share with customers who do not yet follow you on Shop Your Way. 1 IMPORTANT! Change your Shop Your Way identity from a Shop Your Way user identity to a Store Page identity. It is a crucial step to ensure that all actions that you take on Shop Your Way appear as actions performed by the Store Page and not as actions performed by the user. 2 Selecting content to compare. Any time you click on the help me choose button a new item is added to the poll until you decide to publish it. Shop Your Way allows you to compare a variety of items to each other. You can publish a poll about products or compare videos or images that you have in your catalogs. Help me choose is available in several places on the site such as product pages, product quickviews and items in your catalogs. 3 Launching a poll: Once you select all options to compare, you can publish a poll. Information about a new poll will appear on the activity stream of your followers. Moreover, each poll has a unique URL that you can share with your followers and friends to encourage them to vote. 4 Last but not least - check results. 9 STORE PAGE TAG AN ITEM TO YOUR PAGE What is a Tagging capability on Shop Your Way? Tagging enables a page administrator to easily populate his page with all types of content located all over Shop Your Way. When you tag an item with your page s name (tag), the item will automatically appear in the activity feed of your page. The tagging process is easy to use and will allow you to quickly add interesting content to your page and promote your page in various locations of the site. You can tag an array of objects such as: products, catalogs, videos and images. 1 IMPORTANT! Change your Shop Your Way identity from a Shop Your Way user identity to a Store Page identity. It is a crucial step to ensure that all actions that you take on Shop Your Way appear as actions performed by the Store Page and not as actions performed by the user. 2 Browse Shop Your Way pages to find an item or content that you want to be published on your page. 3 Once you find an item or content write the name of your page into a text field Tag. The system will suggest various types of pages available for the keyword that you are typing. Make sure that you select the right page your page. 4 Click enter when you select your page.
