1 Fly into the sky! World Airlines for FS2004 New version update - Boeing edition - Thank you for downloading the update program for Fly into the sky! World Airlines. This update would enhance your flight experience, which includes patches for known errors and fixes of flight dynamics (FDE). In this document we will describe the installation procedure for this update. Read before Installing To use this update, following software programs are required: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 ( FS9 ) Fly into the sky! World Airlines ( Package ver. ) or Fly into the sky! World Airlines - Boeing edition ( Download ver. ) If you are using Package ver., you will be asked to insert the Airbus (Disk1) CD-ROM during the installation. Boeing (Disk2) is not the case. If you are using Download ver., you will be asked for the downloaded file and its serial number. First, FS9 should be installed in your computer. In addition, Package ver. or Download ver. shouldn t be installed beforehand. IMPORTANTE NOTICE: This update has whole data of every aircraft. This time, each aircraft has been completely remodeled. Therefore, we decided to make this a roll up, instead of just providing latest fixes. In this case, this update can be installed without prior installation of Package ver. or Download ver. on your computer. If Package ver. or Download ver. are already installed, and you execute this update, its former data shall be automatically uninstalled, then the new data will be copied. Now, you need to be carefull if you have any repainted aircrafts. Please take your backups before installing this update. "aircraft.cfg" file has the original data of repainted aircrafts. The update installation would overwrite "aircraft.cfg" file, which means your repaints would never appear again. To use your repaints, you need to change the "aircraft.cfg" file with your backup data.

2 Installing update Follow the instructions below: 1. Preparation: Package ver. and Download ver. are different here. Package ver.: Insert Airbus (Disk1) CD-ROM to your CD/DVD drive. In a while, Installation Menu appears. Click [Exit], and the menu will close. Download ver.: We will describe here as you have your downloaded file (w-boeing.exe) in My Documents folder. If the file is in somewhere different, keep notice of it during the following description. Execute your downloaded file. When the following window appears, check if the installation path is My Documents, and click [Install]. The file will then be unpacked and the Install Menu appears. Click [Exit] and the menu will close. Open My Documents, there you will find a folder w-boeing. This is the place where you unpack the setup program described below.

3 2. Execute the update file by double clicking the downloaded program (fs9-boeing_update.exe). Within a while, Install Shield Wizard will start to begin the installation. When it is done, you will see the window shown below. Click [Next] to proceed. 3. When the License Agreement shows, read the sentences carefully. If you agree to the statements, select I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click [Next].

4 4. Here you will be asked which product type you have; Package ver. or Download ver.. Select it and click [Next]. Package ver.: The install program asks which drive has the Airbus (Disk1) CD-ROM. Select the appropriate drive, and click [Next]. In the example shown below, CD-ROM is in the R: drive.

5 Download ver.: In this window, fill in the serial number attached to your Download ver.. Now you need to check the path of the setup program. Click [Change] to define where to unpack. When the following window appears, select the folder which you unpacked the setup file in 1., then click [OK]. By default, the location is set to My Documents. When you get back to Download version Information window, click [Next].

6 5. In this window, you can choose the Setup Type. Select it, and click [Next]. Complete Recommended. Every aircrafts will be installed. Custom You can choose the aircraft to install. Also you can define the installation path. 6. When the window below appears, click [Install]. 7. The installation will take a while. Wait until it finishes. 8. If it is done, you will see the window below. Click [Finish], now the installation is complete.

7 Select Aircraft At the top middle of SELECT AIRCRAFT window, set the Aircraft manufacturer: as Simmer s Sky, Next select from Aircraft model and Variation accordingly. * In this update, a Boeing LR has been added. * In this update, as Virtual Cockpit has been integrated with aircraft, "No VC" (Virtual Cockpit) has been removed from Variation. Toggling to Virtual Cockpit can be done by clicking [VC] button on 2D Panel. Uninstalling update 1. Go to the Windows Start Menu. Open [Settings] - [Control Panel]. Double-Click on [Add/Remove Programs]. * If you don t use classic style on WindowsXP, run [Add/Remove Programs] from [Start] - [Control Panel]. 2. Select Overland - World Airlines for FS2004 (Boeing) from the list and click the [Remove] button. When you use Windows98/Me, please click [Add/Remove] button. 3. When confirmation dialogue is displayed, clicking [OK] will remove World Airlines from your PC. Please note: Do not remove the software without using [Add/Remove Programs]!
