Modules Impacted The changes in this release affect these modules and features: List for Lanyon Meetings Attendee Management o marketing o Registration List for Lanyon Events Registration o Session/Event agenda Summary On December 12, 2016, Lanyon releases enhancements to Lanyon Smart Events Cloud. This release includes the following key new features and improvements. Attendee Waitlist. As an event planner, you can now create a waitlist for your sessions that attendees can add themselves to when the session is full. You can also show attendees their place on the waitlist and attendees when the session adds them. With this feature, planners can now keep their sessions full. 2 New Features and Improvements This section describes in detail the following changes in this release: Session Waitlist Session Waitlist To keep your sessions full, you can allow attendees to join a waitlist when they register. When attendees drop a session, other attendees can take their place automatically. As a meeting or event planner, this feature allows you to keep your sessions full and notify attendees when they are added to the session. You can also gauge attendee interest in a full session and create more sessions on that topic. To Enable Waitlist 1. Log in to your account. 2. Select the meeting you want to add the session to. 3. Click Promote > Attendee Types > Preferences > Show Number of People on Waiting List. 4. To set the Waiting List Limit, click on the Waiting List Limit field and enter how many attendees can join the waitlist. 5. Click Save Lanyon Solutions, Inc. All rights reserved. 3 To Create a Session with a Waitlist 1. Click Promote > Attendee Types > Edit Registration. 2. Check the Sessions checkbox and click Sessions. 3. Hover over the form area and click Edit Form. 4. Click Add Session > New Session. 5. Enter the Session ID, Session Title, and Session Description. 6. Next to Session Capacity, click the input text and enter the session capacity. 7. Click Schedule & Location > Add a Scheduled Time. 8. Click the field below Day and select a day from the calendar. 9. 4 10. To select the End Time, click the field below End Time and use the arrows to adjust the time. 11. Enter the Location and then the Room Capacity. 12. Click Add > Save > Done. 13. 5 To Edit the 1. Click Promote > > Choose Stock > Waitlist to Schedule. 2. Select Edit next to Waitlist to Schedule. 3. Enter the following information: - Name of the - Subject 4. 7 To Check the Waitlist for a Session 1. Click Manage > Reports > Reports List > Schedule > Session Registration. 2. Find the session and click the number of Enrolled. 3. Click an attendee s name. 4.
